Katherine Heigl's Latest Bomb Scare Surprisingly Not Movie-Related

You can only diss, lick and romantically snub so many coworkers before the movie gods—or, as the case may be, terror-inciting Los Angelenos—seek their vengeance.

Such retribution came for Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler on Saturday, when the duo was forced to evacuate Beverly Hills' Four Seasons Hotel for two hours in the midst of their all-day promotional blitz for The Ugly Truth.

Not ones to put possible domestic terrorism above a good junket, once the hotel was emptied of its roughly 400 guests—which included the current bane of David Beckham's existence, the AC Milan soccer team—Butler, our former coworker and the assembled press continued their movie-pimping ways at the nearby Il Cielo restaurant.

"It was just a bomb threat," Los Angeles Police Officer Herrera told E! News. "It was a phone call."

In that case, someone may want to put a trace on the lines at the Grey's Anatomy writing room, stat.

"The bomb squad did not need to be called out," Herrera said. "They closed a couple of streets. The hotel took it upon themselves to evacuate their guests."

For those genuinely concerned about the welfare of Heigl and Co. and not simply biding your time thinking up bomb-related puns to add to the comments, a police search of the premises turned up no unattended or otherwise suspicious packages.
