Bachelorette Jillian: Our Love Is Real! (Despite Cheating Claims)

The Bachelorette star insists her tube-generated romance is working, despite tabloid reports otherwise

Did The Bachelorette find herself a two-timer?

That was the question put to the newly engaged Jillian Harris as she and made-for-TV fiancé Ed Swiderski appeared on Good Morning America today amid rumors he has been sleeping around.

"This is nonsense. I feel like I'm in high school," Harris said, adding that Us Weekly's report that her betrothed had two separate flings is "unfortunate" and "totally inaccurate."

(Maybe the runner-up surfer dude with the funky name isn't looking so bad now, eh?)

For his part, Swiderski also tried to put the matter to, um, bed...

"It's actually not true at all," he said. "Jillian and I have been the target of being one of the very few successful couples on the show. We're clearly being targeted because we're happy."

Per Us Weekly, the alleged Windy City lothario had been seeing not one but two women while he was taping The Bachelorette. To prove it, the magazine produced evidence worthy of the grassy knoll, quoting from emails purportedly coming from the 29-year-old Swiderski professing his love for them both.

While not denying he had been in contact with them, Harris, a 30-year-old interior designer, insisted that Swiderski had no hidden designs and the freshly minted twosome have been "open and honest" from the get-go.

"I think that these women are very hurt, and that they did love Ed. It must be very painful," she said. "That was in the past. Those are past relationships...He has been very, very, very clear with me from the very beginning. Ed is not deceiving me."

Said Swiderski: "We are completely in love."

Wonder if Vegas is offering a line on whether Harris and Swiderski will actually make it down the aisle. History isn't kind. Four of the five previous Bachelorette hookups ended quickly after the flower exchange. The sole exception was Tristan and Ryan Sutter, who married in 2003 and now have two children.

Harris and Swiderski haven't set a wedding date yet but plan to tie the knot within the next year and a half in the bride's native Canada.
