Selena Gomez: Taylor Lautner or Robert Pattinson?

Selena Gomez, Seventeen Magazine Seventeen

You've got to hand it to Seventeen. While other magazines will often ease into gossipy subjects much later in their interviews, the folks over at this gal glossy like to cut to the chase.

Take the very first question posed to cover girl Selena Gomez: "What's up with you and Taylor Lautner?"

Nice!

"We met in Vancouver. [Taylor was shooting New Moon, Selena was shooting Ramona and Beezus.] Kristen [Stewart] was staying in my hotel. He would visit her, so we were constantly running into each other in the lobby—and we ended up meeting," she explains. "He is so sweet. Taylor has made me so happy. I didn't know I could be that happy."

Alas, Selena insists they're only friends.

"He's a great guy. But I'm 100 percent single, and I'm going to keep it that way for a while."

Sure, we've heard this romance rhetoric before and, yeah, we admit that wanting to see these two together is probably just wishful thinking on our part.

That being said, however, when talk turns to celebrity crushes, Selena goes and drops quite the juicy gem on us.

"I had a crush on Robert Pattinson after I saw Twilight."

Ugh, this just became so Bella.
