Murder Charge for M.I.A. Millionaire Contestant

From "person of interest" to "man on the run" in less than 24 hours.

California prosecutors have charged Megan Wants a Millionaire contestant Ryan Alexander Jenkins with murder in the death of his ex-wife, 28-year-old model Jasmine Fiore.

Fiore's nude body was discovered Saturday, stuffed inside a suitcase that had been tossed into a dumpster. She had been strangled, according to Buena Park, Calif., authorities.

A police press conference is scheduled for later this afternoon and a spokeswoman for the Orange County District Attorney's Office said she would let the cops fill us in on the details.

The murder charge was brought in absentia, of course—Jenkins, who first reported Fiore missing and was previously wanted for questioning, is currently the target of an international manhunt, having apparently fled SoCal via car and boat for his native Canada, where he reportedly owns a real-estate company.

VH1 announced earlier Thursday that it had pulled the plug on Megan, which wrapped in March, citing the "tragic situation."
