Lou Ferrigno Hulkin' Mad Over Being Paso Doble'd Over for DWTS

When Tom Bergeron announced the 16 new contestants on Dancing With the Stars Monday, there were a handful of surprises.

People didn't really see Tom DeLay coming, to say the least.

The original Hulk, Lou Ferrigno, was even more flabbergasted when the list was read on Good Morning America. His name wasn't on it.

And you know you wouldn't like Lou Ferrigno—or his manager wife, Carla—when he's angry.

"The producers told us he would have made an excellent contestant and when you compare him to some of the 'so-called' celebrities they picked it just does not make any sense at all," she told Radar Online. "[The producers] never even had the class to give Lou a call and tell him that he was not going to be chosen. Lou is an American icon."

That's debatable, but apparently Carla whipped the 57-year-old body builder into shape in preparation for his rumba with primetime television. She had him drop 25 pounds to prepare for the glittery outfits and roped him into tangoing with her for early practice.

"We couldn't believe some of the people they picked," she continued. "Lou was more surprised than upset that he wasn't chosen because we know he would have been great. I mean Tom Delay, a corrupt politician, a skateboarder who nobody has ever heard of and what exactly has Ashley Hamilton ever done?"

Well, she makes a point.

Lindsay Lohan also looks like she was surprised in the Big Picture gallery.
