This Sunday is a big day for daytime TV enthusiasts everywhere. The Daytime Emmys are here, and Sesame Street will be honored, Vanessa Williams will host and Tyra will probably wear an awesome weave.

Obviously, soap operas are a big part of the Daytime Emmys, so we thought we'd get a little preparty going with a gallery of our favorite stars who started out in the soap trenches, like Eva Longoria Parker there to your left.

(Don't worry about Eva, she's just sad because she eventually gets taken away to the mental hospital. But you know, she shouldn't go around faking her death in an elaborate plot to kill her former lover's first wife. So it's probably just punishment.)
