Believe it or not, Madonna is taking a page straight out of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's playbook.

The pop icon isn't just launching a clothing line—she's launching an affordable, juniors line (Olsenboye, anyone?) called Material Girl.

She's teamed with Iconix—the brand behind Badgley Mischka, Bongo, Candie's, London Fog and Roca Wear—to create a "fast-fashion" collection launching exclusively at Macy's in August, just in time for back-to-school shopping.

And Madge isn't the only designer. The collection is created with and inspired by the fashionista-in-training who is her 13-year-old daughter Lourdes.

The clothes range in price from $12 to $40. In addition to shirts, skirts and such, the family knows you wouldn't be "Vogue"-ready without the coordinating shoes, jewelry and handbags.

Madonna's deal with Iconix extends beyond this set of outfits. Under the new joint venture, called MG Icon, they'll be collaborating to develop and explore multiple business initiatives along these lines. For starters, they'll be launching fragrance and beauty lines in 2011.

"Joining forces with Iconix to bring my fashion ideas to consumers is very exciting for me," the Material maven said in a statement. "I look forward to working closely with Neil [Cole, CEO and Chairman of Iconix Brand Group] and his team to create and translate my vision and ideas for MG Icon."
