Brooke Mueller is having a great time being away from it all.

"We spoke yesterday. She's doing great," Mueller's rep, Elliot Mintz, tells E! News. "Just this week she went sailing and had dinner with her kids. We expect her to be back within the next couple weeks. No rehab, no falling off the wagon."

Mueller voluntarily entered a stress-management program about two weeks ago, setting off speculation that perhaps she was back in rehab to readdress substance-abuse issues that have plagued her in the past.

A family member of Mueller confirms to E! News that she took her twin sons with Charlie Sheen, a nanny and a "sober coach" to a rented home on a coastal property in California.

"Brooke just needed to get away because she's being bombarded by everybody with what's going on with Charlie," the source says. "It's driving Brooke crazy."

Mueller and Sheen have been living apart for most of this year following his Christmas Day arrest for allegedly assaulting her during a fight.

A plea deal that would send the actor to jail for a couple weeks (rather than a few years) hit a bureaucratic snag and he now doesn't report for sentencing until July 12.

"I don't think either one of them are talking about whether they are getting back together or not right now," the family source tells E! "I think it all depends on what happens with this court case, he's pretty bitter about it. That's why Brooke wanted to get everything in place."

The estranged couple have already had their lawyers draw up divorce papers, though no one has officially filed them.

But no matter what happens, the source said, "Brooke has a great outlook on life, she will be fine."
