She already admitted—on camera!—that it was the wine talking, but now Lynn Patridge is truly sorry for going off in the wake of her daughter's surprising elimination from Dancing With the Stars this week.
"I am sincerely sorry for the negative things I said in the heat of the moment," Lynn said in a statement Thursday.
"As a mother, there is no pain in this world like seeing your children upset. I am so proud of my daughter and all she has accomplished on Dancing With the Stars. I was extremely emotional after her elimination—it just came as such a shock. I want to apologize for offending anyone."
Hollywoodtv.com caught up with Lynn while she was taking a cigarette break outside Eva Longoria Parker's restaurant Beso on Tuesday following the results show, and she jumped at the chance to air her grievances about what had just happened...and then some.
"I've been a celebrity mom for eight years through this Hills bulls--t," Lynn said, "but Audrina is going to the next level...She's got it in her. She's a sweetie."
"One door closes, another one opens," she added. "I was proud of her. Last night, she f--king kicked ass. It's all show business, baby, the show must go on."
And it's not Audrina's fault that her mom forgot the difference between The Hills' edited version of reality and the raw video that ends up online.
"She's kicking ass on a reality show and we're going to f--king smoke, especially Lauren Conrad's pissy ass little fashion s--t," Lynn continued, referring to Audrina's new deal with VH1. "That bitch wants to bring it on? Let's go! F--king let's go!...I've been a celebrity mom eight years through this Hills bulls--t, but Audrina is going to the next level. She's got it in her. F--king Hills girls. Hills tramps! My baby is a star, she's the only one that has some class."
"She's going to be pissed I'm talking to you idiots," Lynn also said. "I usually don't drink. Thank you for letting me share."
