The Real Housewives of New York star Sonja Morgan's got no money but mo problems.

After we learned the reality vixen may have to unload her fabulous $6 million New York City townhouse in order to dig herself out of debt, she issued a statement on the state of her financial woes.

So what's Morgan saying now about her money troubles?

Not much, apparently.

Morgan is bankrupt and locked in a bitter court battle with her 80-year-old ex-husband, John Adams Morgan, the great-grandson of financier J.P. Morgan, over a $3 million divorce settlement.

The self-titled socialite had blamed her lack of cash on a failed venture between her production company and Hannibal Pictures Inc. After a project she invested in never took off, the producers filed suit against the reality star and won a $7 million judgment.

Now she's claiming she can't utter another peep about her finances.

"I have not made public my financial status affected by my divorce and outstanding business matters as I prefer to keep these matters private," Morgan said.

"However, it has now become public only due to my Chapter 11 filing, and has raised a lot of questions in the media, along with incorrect assumptions and statements. Many times divorce can be difficult, especially when significant assets are co-mingled. Out of respect to my ex-husband, our families, my brand and future ventures, I ask that the media understand that during negotiations with interested parties on all sides I will not be able to discuss any details."

Morgan said she appreciates the support and professional advice she has received and promises to elaborate on her money troubles when her current situation is settled.

The hapless Housewife, who was cast on the reality series in its third season, said a divorce adviser she hired to help with her cash flow and recommended she refrain from discussing the details of her divorce.
