David Arquette has found a new passion after the demise of his FX series Dirt—designing menswear.

Reports last week said the often outlandishly garbed Arquette will partner with equally eccentric singer Ben Harper on a collection called Propr (spelled correctly). And by spelled correctly we mean that this is the incorrect spelling David and Ben have chosen.

E! spotted Arquette out last night with wife Courteney Cox at Veuve Clicquot's fifth anniversary celebration for West Hollywood eatery Il Sole, where the actor and producer could speak of nothing but his forthcoming duds.

"David is so excited about his fashion line, its releasing next month," an onlooker said. "He was telling everyone about it, from guests to staff."

Arquette and Harper will reportedly show a few looks from the collection during this week's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. The preview is said to be taking place on Sept. 8, Arquette's 37th birthday, and a rowdy celebration is scheduled to follow the show.

Reps for Arquette and Harper have yet to comment.

While David hyped his threads at Il Sole, other celeb couples enjoyed the celebration as well. Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane stopped by, alongside Kate Bosworth and her model beau James Rousseau, all looking smitten. The only couple the candlelit private celebration couldn't sway? Paris Hilton and Benji Madden.

We're told the pair arrived an hour late to meet Paris' parents, Rick and Kathy, for the sit-down dinner, and Benji couldn't have been less interested in a family meal.

"Benji played on his BlackBerry literally the entire time," a source said. "He devoured dinner and completely checked out. Paris talked to her folks the whole night, then they left."
