Sharon Stone Denied Custody of Her Career

While it appears that Sharon Stone’s custody battle for her son, Roan, is still up in the air, today a judge at the Los Angeles Superior Court of Hollywood denied the actress custody of her career. Citing such recent and instantly forgettable films as $5 a Day, Democrazy, When a Man Falls in the Forest and If I Had Known I Was a Genius, Judge Alan Mordecai stated, “Ms. Stones’ career has suffered from neglect and abuse for many years. It clearly deserves a more structured continuity and a more stable, secure and consistent home. There are a lot of young actresses out there willing to adopt and nurture the career back to its original health.”

Stone's attorneys are said to be appealing the decision, asking that Stone be allowed visitation privileges with her career during holidays and select vacation periods. “It’s not likely,” offered one legal pundit. “Have you actually seen her career? It’s been starved and beaten down to nothing. Frankly I’m surprised it still exists at all.”
