Naomi Ready for Nicole's Nuptials

Naomi Watts arrived in Sydney, Australia, on Wednesday in time to take part in her friend Nicole Kidman's "hen party" festivities before attending the Hours star's wedding to Keith Urban, believed to be taking place this weekend.

Watts told reporters she was "not at liberty to discuss" any details of the forthcoming nuptials. "But I am very excited for my friend," she added.

Kidman's sister, Antonia, was hosting the bachelorette party at her North Sydney home, according to the local media. The event was scheduled the day after Kidman celebrated her 39th birthday with her family, a quiet affair that entailed having "dinner at home with mum," the actress told reporters.

Though Kidman has had strained relationships with the paparazzi in the past, she has been doing her best to turn on the charm as her wedding approaches. After reporters camped outside her home sent her flowers and sang her "Happy Birthday" over the intercom, she emerged to pose for a few pictures on Tuesday.

Later in the day, she and Urban sent out a case of Victoria Bitters beer and bottled water, with a note reading "Enjoy! Nicole and Keith."

While some details of the wedding remain secret, the Australian Associated Press reported the ceremony would take place at the Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel, a church overlooking the ocean. A large tent was reportedly being erected on the grounds for the reception.

Father Paul Coleman, a longtime friend of the Kidman family, told the AAP the 35-minute service would feature classical music and gospel readings chosen by Kidman's mother, Janelle.

As far as the couple's union, the priest said he had "good feeling about their chances."

Urban's parents, Bob and Marienne, and his brother, Shane, who will reportedly serve as his best man, flew into Sydney from Maroochydore on Tuesday.

"There are no words, we're just really happy and excited," Urban's mother told reporters.

Kidman's two children from her previous marriage to Tom Cruise, Isabella, 13 and Connor, 11, were said to be arriving in Sydney in the coming days.

The kids were believed to be in Japan with Cruise Wednesday, fueling speculation in the local media that he planned to drop them off by private jet.

We're guessing he wasn't invited to stay for the ceremony.
