Cool Canada: Jason Goes Surfing
When you think of cool places to go in Canada—what comes to mind? The amazing vibe of Yaletown in Vancouver? The Forks Market in Winnipeg? Maybe even Queen West in Toronto or Old Montreal?
Well, for something completely different E! News Weekend is bringing you an amazing Cool Canada Special—and I had the 'oh-so-difficult' task of going to one of the coolest places and taking part in the area’s most, how shall I say…totally amazing adventures!
Demi Moore has done it. So has Alanis Morissette, Adam Sandler, Sarah McLachlan and hottie Matthew McConaughey—just to name a few...and now me!
I have always wanted to surf, never got around to it, but just a few weeks ago, I did! My first time on a surf board took place in beautiful Tofino, BC just down the beach from Sarah McLachlan’s place. She wasn’t home so we didn’t hit the waves together…maybe next time!
All I will say is this...me and pro surf instructor Raph Bruhwiler...a very revealing wet suit, and a surf lesson I will never forget! Did I mention it was with pro surf instructor Raph Bruhwiler…thought so!!
