Teri Hatcher is one heck of a celebrity spokeswoman after all.

So says skin-care maker Hydroderm, which had been suing the Desperate Housewives star for breach of contract for allegedly singing the praises of a rival company's lip-plumping product after agreeing to exclusively stump for them.

But no more. In a statement issued Friday, Hydroderm spokesman Joshua McCleary called Hatcher a "woman of the highest integrity."

"We sincerely apologize for the adverse publicity resulting from our lawsuit...Hydroderm LLC has specifically retracted all accusations made against Teri Hatcher including that she endorsed any competing products."

In response to the lawsuit filed a year ago, Hatcher's camp vowed that she had "done absolutely nothing wrong" and called Hydroderm's accusations tantamount to "character assassination."
