Rate-a-Trailer: Brad Pitt Wants Nazi Scalps in Inglourious Basterds
The trailer for Inglourious Basterds, the Quentin Tarantino movie that forced Brad Pitt to grow that awful mustache, has made its way online (via Yahoo) and it's looking pretty insane.
Pitt plays Lt. Aldo Raine, who during World War II leads a group of Jewish soldiers into German-occupied France, where they will torture, destroy and scalp some Nazis. The trailer features a pep talk delivered by Pitt (with an enthusiastic and bizarro accent) to get his soldiers—including a very creepy Eli Roth and sort of out-of-place B.J. Novak—into full-on murdering mode. There's even a Hitler cameo at the end. Naturally, the whole thing's violent, gory and crazy.
So who’s in for some bloody Basterds viewing Aug. 21 and who would prefer to sit this one out until a nicer Brad Pitt movie comes along?
