Melissa Etheridge to Adam Lambert: "Don't Believe Everything They Say"
Melissa Etheridge predicted this would happen.
She spoke as if she were reading a crystal ball when we chatted at the American Music Awards before Adam Lambert's controversial sex-charged performance.
We asked Ms. Etheridge what advice she'd give to the out and proud 27-year-old glam rock Idol star. Little did we know that her well-seasoned words were a foreshadowing of things to come later that night...

Teen Scene: Twilight, Britney and...President Obama?
Twilight fans, rejoice!
Robert Pattinson & Co. have some of the best seats in the house at this weekend's Teen Choice Awards.
But before we get into who is sitting where and with whom, I wanna fill ya in on some other goodies I just got for you during my exclusive sneak peek of what's in store for the annual surfboard awards show.
Here we go…
Reports of Britney Spears performing during Sunday's taping of the show (it airs on Monday on Fox) have been greatly exaggerated.
Britney will be there, though. She's not only a multiple-nominee, but she's receiving the Ultimate Choice Award.
"But," says Bob Bain, executive producer of the show, "if at three o'clock on Sunday afternoon she calls and says, 'I've changed my mind,' we will figure it out and make it happen."
So, what's up with Twilight? Plus, did the Jonas Brothers, who make their debut as hosts of the show, snag President Obama to take part? Keep reading to find out...

Malia & Sasha: Cheeseburgers and Milkshakes!
Michelle Obama must be taking notes from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who brought their brood to McDonalds earlier this week. The first mom treated her kids to the Good Stuff Eatery.
I just got word that Malia and Sasha joined their mom and about 15 of her staffers for a lunch at former Top Chef contestant Spike Mendelsohn's year-old restaurant on Capitol Hill.
What was on the menu? Read on to find out.

AnnaLynne McCord to 90210: Hire My Sisters!
Gossip Girl just snagged Tyra Banks for an episode, so where does that leave its fellow CW show 90210 in the guest-star department?
If it were up to AnnaLynne McCord, 22, who plays Beverly Hills bad girl Naomi, her real-life sisters, Angel, 24, and Rachel, 20, would be joining her on 90210.
"I'm really pushing for it," McCord told me this weekend at Treesje's Magnolia collection trunk show at Kitson on Robertson Boulevard. "I really would love to have my sisters on because they really are my best friends in the whole world. It would be really cool if they could come and be Naomi's two new friends."
McCord's got a few more ideas...
First Daughters J.Crews Into Moscow
President Barack Obama went to Moscow for some talks about nuclear arms.
We know that's like totally important, but what would a trip by the first family be without a little fashion talk? So here we go…

AnnaLynne McCord Dreams of Gossip With Ed Westwick
AnnaLynne McCord thinks it's time for 90210 to jump over to Gossip Girl.
McCord says her 90210 character, Naomi Clark, would be a perfect match for Ed Westwick's Chuck Bass.
"I think the Beverly Hills bad girl should team up with New York's bad boy and have some fun," McCord told me this morning from Washington, D.C. (more on that in a moment). "It would be naughty-naughty."
And speaking of show crossovers, what about the possibility of 90210 and the upcoming Melrose Place revival?
"The producers have actually mentioned that to us," McCord said. "We don't know who or where or what or when yet, but they want that very much."
So what was McCord doing in our nation's capital?
Ruby to President Obama: Can We Talk?
Ruby Gettinger is hopin' for a word with President Obama.
"I've written a letter to him," the Style Network reality star tells me. "It's my dream to have the president and first lady come out and walk and talk to me."
Gettinger, whose self-titled reality series has been following her journey to trim down from nearly 500 pounds, will be in Washington, D.C. on June 13 for a stop on her Ruby's Walk Across America tour to promote healthy living.
What does she want to talk to the prez about?
President Obama: Viva Las Vegas, Baby!
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas—unless you're the President of the United States.
I just got the scoop on Pres. Obama's overnight in Sin City.
Where did he stay? What did he eat? What celebs was he hanging with? Read on for all the details!
Barack Obama Wanted for 30 Rock!
Alec Baldwin may want Michelle Obama to guest star on 30 Rock, but costar Jane Krakowski is aiming just a wee bit higher.
"I keep saying we've just got to get [Barack] Obama," Krakowski, who plays Jenna on the hit show, tells me. "We've had Steve Martin. We've had Oprah. We've had Jerry Seinfeld. We've had all these great musical greats. Let's just go for the big guns now."
Krakowski is thinking Jay Leno could help them land the president. "I always say, 'He was on The Tonight Show, so he's part of the NBC family,' " she laughs. "He might want to just come by."
And talk about coming by. Tonight's 30 Rock finale has quite an impressive lineup...

Bette Midler Talks Lambert, Boyle and Cher
Yesterday, I told you about the unlikely friendship that's developed between Bette Midler and 50 Cent. I also promised you more Bette today. As always, the Divine Miss M had plenty to say about so many things:
Adam Lambert: If he doesn't win American Idol, Midler doesn't it think it means homophobia has reared its ugly discriminatory head. "Don't take it as a slap in the face if you're a gay person," she says. "I pray that people don't get pissed off."
Susan Boyle: Midler was stunned just like the rest of us. "Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous," she gushed. "And the reason I think it is because it's a natural voice. It doesn't squeeze through the nose and she doesn't do all the riffing craziness."
That's definitely not the end of it, so make sure to click on keep reading...

Valentino: Michelle Obama Will Be the Next Jackie O
If anyone can predict whether Michelle Obama has the fashion chops to be the next Jackie O, it's Valentino.
"It's quite soon to decide that already she's found this style or that style. She needs maybe a little more time," the legendary Italian designer said of our new first lady at last night's screening of Valentino: The Last Emperor at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, before optimistically pronouncing: "She's beautiful, and I am sure that very, very soon, she will be like Jackie Kennedy."
The designer's advice to the J. Crew-loving Michelle O?
Jonas Brothers: First Family Has VIP Pass for Life
We have a pretty good hunch where first daughters Sasha and Malia Obama will be on July 13—at Washington, D.C.'s Verizon Center for the Jonas Brothers concert.
Like no duh, right?
"Hopefully, the family will come out and watch the show," Kevin Jonas told us during a JoBros conference call this morning with reporters to talk about their upcoming world tour. "They're always invited."
The boys surprised the girls earlier this year when the group showed up at the White House to give them and some friends a private concert, while mommy and daddy Obama hit 10 inaugural balls.
Our fave brotherly trio, who kick off their tour on Sunday in San Juan, Puerto Rico, also talked dating, South Park, college plans and…Elvis Costello?
