Kourtney Kardashian: I'm Sick of Gaining Weight

Kourtney Kardashian Noel Vasquez/Getty Images

Khloé Kardashian isn't the only member of her family facing weighty issues.

Big sis Kourtney Kardashian, 30, admits she's nervous about gaining too many pounds during pregnancy. "I weigh myself everyday," she told us Monday at the Kardashian Charity Knock Out event in L.A. "I've gained 26 pounds since getting pregnant, except I gained three pounds since yesterday."

Being eight months pregnant and understandably bigger than usual hasn't stopped the E! reality starlet from conquering a red carpet in heels. But it sounds like Monday's event could be Kourt's last until after she gives birth...

Khloé Packs On Love Pounds After Marriage

Is Khloé Kardashian already too comfortable with new hubby and notorious sugar junkie Lamar Odom?

The 25-year-old E! reality starlet shed 25 pounds prior to tying the knot with her basketball beau on Sept. 27. But since meeting Lamar, Khloé has found it tougher to stay focused.

"I stopped my QuickTrim diet for a little bit around the time I met Lamar," Khloé told us yesterday at the Kardashian Charity Knock Out event at L.A.'s Commerce Casino. "I was so in love, and I was at my perfect weight, and I didn't want to do it anymore. Since marriage, I've gained about five pounds."

But Khloé assures us she's ready to get serious again...

Jason Segel Shows Us His Serious Side

Jason Segel Donato Sardella/Getty Images

Jason Segel may be known for making people laugh, but the funnyman also has a serious side.

Segel told us last night that a male friend of his is battling breast cancer. Although rare, about 1 percent of all U.S. breast cancer cases occur in men.

"I think the key is to keep treating him normally and not change the way you would normally talk to someone just because they have cancer," Segel said at the launch of Lacoste's 2009 Pink Croc collection, which benefits the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Director Judd Apatow also opened up about how the disease has affected his life...

Denise Richards Will Never Sing in Public Again

Denise Richards Jean Baptiste Lacroix/Getty Images

Denise Richards wants you to know that there's a very good reason she sang "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" the other day at a Chicago Cubs game.

And, unlike other onscreen vixens like Leighton Meester, it certainly has nothing to do with her trying to impress people with her singing abilities.

The E! reality star knows she cannot carry a tune, but…

Mekhi Phifer on Chris Brown: "People Make Mistakes"

Rihanna, Chris Brown, Mekhi Phifer Kevin Mazur/Getty Images, Mike Ansell/NBC

Chris Brown’s friend and onetime movie costar Mekhi Phifer says no matter what happens between Brown and Rihanna, he wishes “them both the best.”

While not making any apologies for Brown's alleged assault, Phifer thinks his age, 19, was a big factor in what went down between the two singers.

“People make mistakesand while I don’t condone what happened that night, you know, what Chris did to her—I remember being young, 19, and at that age it seemed like everything was so over-the-top, and everyone’s so passionate about things at the age,” Phifer told us at this weekend’s World Poker Tournament Invitational at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles.

Phifer and Brown costarred in the 2007 dramedy This Christmas. Phifer was also an executive producer of the flick, which told the story of a family that reunites for the holidays for the first time in four years.

New 90210 Passes Spelling Test

Randy Spelling says not only does he enjoy the new 90210, but he thinks his late father, Aaron Spelling, producer of the original, would be a fan as well.

"I've watched the first couple of episodes, and I think it's really entertaining," said Spelling, Saturday at his mom Candy Spelling's Woman of the Year Luncheon hosted by the Friendly House at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. "It was a trip for me to see kind of the same music, and the same characters. And I gotta tell you, it's easy to get sucked back into it. And I really like Rob Estes, and of course Jennie [Garth] and Shannen [Doherty]."

Barrymore's Shutterbug Showdown

Justin Long, Drew Barrymore Todd Williamson/WireImage.com

Ya gotta hand it to Drew Barrymore for turning a paparazzi moment into a charitable effort.

The starlet and her beau, Justin Long, were leaving Tom Whitman’s weekly Size party at gay bar Here last night in West Hollywood when they found themselves being filmed by some paps.

Barrymore was quick on her feet and announced into the camera, “If anyone is watching...give to the World Food Programme. Fifty cents makes a difference.” (In May, Barrymore was named Ambassador Against Hunger for WFP, an organization that fed 19.4 million children in 71 countries in 2006 through its school feeding programs.)

Barrymore’s plea for charitable help came after a night of rubbing elbows with her gay fans and some wacky dance moves. At one point, Barrymore and Long created a spectacle dancing to Britney’s "Piece of Me" when he lifted her high into the air. Lemme tell ya, Long was just one bad step from flippin' Barrymore onto her pretty little head.

Also at Here was Lance Bass, who, I’m told, hung out for a nice chunk of the evening in a VIP booth with no fewer than 20 of his friends. He was later spotted getting cozy with a muscly, spiky-haired fella—though not on behalf of any humanitarian group that we know of.

Why You Should Watch Idol Gives Back

Brad Pitt Ray Mickshaw / FOX

Simon gets roasted (but dishes it back) while Brad gets groped (but for good reason)—I was at the Idol Gives Back taping last night at Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre, and it did not disappoint.

Here are my 10 reasons—as if Pitt's appearance wasn't enough—why you should watch the annual fundraising shebang when it broadcasts live on Wednesday night:

1. The show opens with the remaining Idol contestants singing Rihanna’s summer pop anthem “Don’t Stop the Music.”

2. Fergie! First she sings a ballad with John Legend on piano, and then she joins Heart for a rockin’ rendition of “Barracuda.” The Duchess even did cartwheels in her body-hugging black leather pants.

3. Jimmy Kimmel throws some nasty barbs at Simon Cowell. Among the goodies, Kimmel asks that if we all agree that Cowell just says what we’re all thinking, then “why hasn’t he said anything about the fact that his nipples are the size of pepper mills?” Cowell shot back later on, “Jimmy Kimmel—I just want to say I love the Jay Leno show.”
