Demi Moore: Call Me a Puma Not a Cougar

Demi Moore is on the cover of December's W wearing a festive holiday getup. The reigning Queen of Twitter talks about (what else?) being a cougar and how great Ashton Kutcher is. Feels like we've heard this all before from the actress, but let's do it anyway.
While everyone considers Demi to be the O.G. cougar, she doesn't see it that way.
"I'm certainly not the first person to be in a relationship with a younger man, but somehow I was plucked out as a bit of a poster girl," she says. "I don't know why that is. But I just kind of step back sometimes and say, 'There is some reason, and what is it that I have to share in a positive way?' I'd prefer to be called a puma."
("Puma" is already used to describe women in their 30s who go for younger men, so 47-year-old Demi doesn't really fall into that category. But she thinks "she came up with the new designation," so maybe it's best to let her go on believing that?)
Now about her 31-year-old husband. She loves him. A lot.

Is Twitter Totally Over for Celebs?

Twitter may be the perfect way to find out what your fave celebs are eating for lunch—or to get a quick peek at Demi Moore's ass, thanks to hubby Ashton. But is the fun social network device now getting to be more trouble than it's worth?
Hung's Jane Adams (a doll we totally love) was caught dine-and-dashing at Barney Greengrass restaurant recently, via her stilted waiter's Twitter account. Tsk-tsk, babe!
She had her rep go back to the eatery and pay the bill the next day, but the deal had already been tweeted online.
Adams, at least, had less to worry about than the angry server, who ended up being fired for tweet-bitching about the incident (in addition to providing reports on other celebrities he's served).
But that may be just the beginning of Twitter backlash...
Demi vs. Perez: The Battle Over Titillating Tallulah

Demi Moore decided today was the perfect day to start a Twitter fight with Perez Hilton for 3-week-old tweets like:
"Tallulah Willis, 15, dressing like a slut! Look at her boobs! http://bit.ly/TzOex Demi, Ashton and Bruce are GREAT parents!"
Now, Perez can say some awful stuff about famous people's children. However bad this makes us look as a society, that's his job.
If anyone gives him even the smallest bit of attention, he runs with it. So it's usually best not to engage him. Ever.

Will Rumer Willis engage in some same-sex smooching on 90210? It would totally make sense considering she's making her debut on the upcoming season playing a lesbian student at West Beverly Hills high School.
"I don't know yet," Rumer, 21, tells me. "I've only done two episodes, and we're just kind of seeing how she fits in with the storyline and how she fits in with the group."
Just three days after 90210's season premiere next week, Rumer will also be seen in Sorority Row, a horror flick about a group of college co-eds being terrorized by a tire-iron-wielding psycho killer (out Sept. 11).

It was only a matter of time until Demi Moore twittered about the quotes going around yesterday where she reportedly denied ever having plastic surgery to French Marie Claire:
"It's completely false—I’ve never had it done. I would never judge those who have—if it's the best thing for them then I don't see a problem. But I don't like the idea of having an operation to hold up the aging process—it's a way to combat your neurosis. The scalpel won't make you happy."
So that's the quote, now it's discussion time in the Twitterverse (always the best place to have serious talks). Demi kicked off everything with this opening statement: "All this garbage that came out today about me is nothing more than an effort to diminish not just me but all women."
That's not exactly a satisfying response for everyone who wonder where exactly she hides all her aging and they let her know...

For the record, Moore is 47 and is so firm that her butt doubles as a spring mat for the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Team.

Ashton and Demi Live to Tweet Another Day

Ashton Kutcher is "happy to be alive." Even more so than usual.
The actor and wife Demi Moore twittered their respective relief Thursday afternoon after their private plane made an emergency landing in Las Vegas.
Which was where they already were, so apparently they hadn't gone far before being forced to turn back.
"my plane just had to do an emergency landing. Engine over heated. fire trucks everywhere. good times," Kutcher wrote shortly after 1:30 p.m. while they waited for the next flight out of Sin City, where he and Moore had attended the premiere of his new film, Spread.

Ah, those crazy, Twitter-addicted kids are at it once again.
It looks like Ashton Kutcher decided to have a little fun with Photoshop this weekend and posted a pic to his account of Demi Moore sporting a fake Mohawk.
"Wifey just got a new haircut," he wrote. "What do you guys think? I love it."
Naturally, Demi was quick to respond...

For Demi, Sometimes Less Is Moore
When it comes to twittering, Demi Moore is known for really sinking her teeth into the latest communication craze. At least the ones she has left.
The 46-year-old actress hopped on her account over the weekend to post a couple of pictures in which she's smiling in a dentist's chair and revealing a gaping hole where a tooth used to be.
"I lost it and had to have it fixed! I personally thought this look went out after you were eight, didn't know I would be rocking it again!" she wrote. "Happy to share and always appreciate the opportunity to find humility!!! Or at least be able to laugh at myself!"
However, other news has Demi doing anything but smiling...
Demi & Ashton: Twitter Correspondents During White House Dinner

Hollywood's biggest names were on hand for the White House Correspondents' Dinner, and Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher couldn't stop twittering about the event all night. No wonder Ashton has more followers than CNN.
"I'm trying to figure out why anyone would let me sit this close to the president," Ashton first tweeted.
He even tried uploading video from the event, but apparently couldn't get a signal.
Ashton later said Obama was "hilarious" and shared that "Demi claims Obama gave her the 'what's up' smile."
Not be outdone by her technologically savvy hubby, Demi posted pics from the night...
