Glee Star Grateful for Thanksgiving Parade Ban
Glee's Mark Salling may have wanted to perform in this year's Thanksgiving Day parade in NYC, but he's also sorta happy that NBC decided to ban the musical television show from the annual festivities.
"I'm gonna watch it," says Salling, who plays football stud Puck. "I got no hard feelings. But I'll catch it from home in Dallas, Texas, with family, which was allowed to happen by NBC not inviting us. So I am not complaining. Thank you, NBC!"
Lea Michele, who stars on the show as Rachel Berry, also insists she'll tune in...
Glee Star: I'll Still Watch Thanksgiving Day Parade
Just because the Glee cast was ousted from the NBC Thanksgiving Day Parade lineup doesn't mean our favorite high school singing club is holding a grudge.
Glee's main man on campus, Cory Monteith, fully intends on watching the Turkey Day parade. "No sour grapes," Monteith told us at Maxim and Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed 2 party. "I'm looking forward to the Jay Leno float. That will be really fun to watch."
Monteith, who plays loveable quarterback Finn Hudson on the hit Fox show, says ideas for the much-buzzed-about Madonna episode are flying…
Glee Stars Get Ready For Madonnapalooza
Glee won't begin shooting new episodes again for a few weeks but the cast already has Madonna on the brain.
If ya haven't heard by now, producers decided to do an all-Madonna episode after Madge recently gave them permission to use any songs from her catalog.
So which tunes are the stars hoping to sing? Read on to find out…
Glee Star Gets to Nail Old Madonna
When Dianna Agron told us recently that she was going to be singing a Madonna song on an upcoming episode of Glee, our first hunch was "Like a Virgin."
After all, she does play pregnant high school cheerleader Quinn Fabray.
But we were wrong…
Why Madonna Is Perfect For Glee
The world is much better place now that we have Glee, don't ya think?
I dare you to try watching that show without cracking a smile, tapping your feet or as I do, singing along.
Producers have already entertained us with guest stars like Kristin Chenoweth and Josh Groban.
Who should be next?
Glee: A History of...Violence?!
Forget about watching the fights over at the World Wrestling Federation.
Sounds like things could get pretty violent over at Glee.
And we’re not talking about another slushie being thrown in poor Rachel Berry’s face…
Glee's Chris Colfer: Kurt Should Get a Boyfriend
Bravo, Glee!
Show tune-loving and fashion-obsessed Kurt (Chris Colfer) came out of the closet last night—and we're only three episodes into the new series!
Now with that out of the way, Colfer, 19, is hopeful that Kurt's future includes a boyfriend.
But not just any boyfriend…
Glee's Cory Monteith: High School Dropout to Hollywood Star
Cory Monteith is one grateful guy.
He stars as Finn Hudson, the singing high school football jock in television's new, much-buzzed-about musical comedy Glee (which finally begins its regular weekly run on Fox tonight!)
"The fact that I get to do this for a living is ridiculous," Monteith, 27, tells me in a small theater in Los Angeles where Glee has been filming the season finale.
"I still can't wrap my head around the fact that people are paying me to do this," he adds.
There was a time when Monteith didn't think he'd ever land more than a blue-collar job back in his native Canada. He never even finished high school...

An Afternoon Filled With Glee
I was in musical heaven yesterday.
Why?
Because my friends over at Fox invited me to the set of the Glee finale! Nothing sweeter for this New York show queen than spending the afternoon watching Lea Michele working on her performance of Barbra Streisand's "Don't Rain on My Parade."
What more should you expect when the series—co-created by Nip/Tuck's Ryan Murphy, Ian Brennan and Brad Falchuk—begins its regular weekly run in September?
Well, I don't want to spoil it too much for you, but…
Glee: Streisand, Wheelchairs and Gay Fathers!
Barbra Streisand is going back to high school.
Glee, Fox's new musical series about a struggling high school glee club, will use one of Streisand's classics in an upcoming episode. (After premiering in May, the show will return for its first regular season run in September.)
"Lea Michelle [who stars as Rachel Abrams] is going to sing an iconic Barbra Streisand song," series co-executive producer Dante Di Loreto said Saturday at a screening of the second episode at L.A.'s gay film festival Outfest.
He declined to give a hint as to what tune its, but Jane Lynch, who plays cheerleading coach Susan Sylvester said, "Think of Barbra Streisand and the bow of a ship."
If that's the case, the song must be "Don't Rain on My Parade" from Funny Girl.
That's not the only thing we learned about Glee this weekend. Read on for more…
