Kate Gosselin's marriage may be crumbling, but her star power seems to be on the rise.
She's been invited by Maria Shriver to attend the Annual Women's Conference.
Also on the list for the October event in Sacramento? Katie Couric, Kelly Preston, Cindy McCain, Elizabeth Edwards and Madeleine Albright.
California's first lady said it wasn't even her idea to invite the mom of eight to attend...
It wasn't Arnold's, either. Maria said her teenage daughters, who are fans of Jon & Kate Plus 8, suggested she ask the TLC star to attend.
The invites were sent out five months ago, before the family was regularly splashed across tabloids.
We can only guess at the conversations she'll have with guests like Elizabeth Edwards.
