In Plain Sight Outgoing Boss Reveals Network's Plans to Remodel the Series
When USA announced that In Plain Sight was picked up for a third season run of 16 episodes, many people glossed over the fact that the show's executive producer and creator David Maples would no longer be running the show. And as it turns out, creative differences between the creator and the network are not just changing the writers' room, but two stars are leaving the show as well.
How and why did this all happen? For the first time, exclusively on E! Online, both Maples and USA's president of original programming Jeff Wachtel talk about why they are parting ways and what USA has in store for In Plain Sight.
Read on for the debate, find out which series regulars are being demoted, and then decide for yourself who's right or wrong...
This Just In: USA Renews In Plain Sight
• In Plain Sight: USA has picked up the witness-protection drama for a 16-episode third season. Yay for Mary McCormack and Fred Weller!
• House: Have you seen the new House promo where House (Hugh Laurie) is smooching guest star Franka Potente? What do you guys think about that?
• Dollhouse: Jamie Bamber isn't the only Battlestar Galactica vet swinging by the Dollhouse set this season—Michael Hogan (Col. Saul Tigh) is also set to guest star this year. Hogan pops up in the second episode.
• TCA Awards: Speaking of Battlestar Galactica, the critically acclaimed drama was finally recognized at an awards show, taking the honor of Program of the Year this weekend at the Television Critics Association Awards. Other TCA Awards winners include True Blood, Mad Men, The Big Bang Theory and Breaking Bad.

In Plain Sight: Is Laura Prepon Mary's Sister?
Could October Road's Laura Prepon be Mary's (Mary McCormack) long-lost half sister, or does that sound just too fishy to be true?
The cast of In Plain Sight gathered at the Los Angeles Times' Envelope Emmy screening series last night to talk about the emotional turn the show has taken—including the entrance of a possible new family member—and how the finale leaves Mary trying to pick of the pieces of a "catastrophic" event.
Get all the details on how Prepon's Lauren may cause one of the Shannon sisters to end up in the slammer. Plus, Mary teased who she may finally be settling down with.
Save It or Sink It: In Plain Sight
Apparently U.S. Marshal Mary Shannon's dad used to say, "Sell yourself, the product will follow."
Well, it took me a few episodes—namely until I saw "Trojan Horst," guest starring Dave Foley, which airs on June 22—but I think I'm buying USA's new drama In Plain Sight.
For me, not a series that I fell for off the pilot, but Mary McCormack has a hell of a lot to offer. Are you interested? Vote in the poll below, and then post your review in the comments.
