The most memorable line in Pineapple Express was muttered by Saul (James Franco) "It’s like killing a unicorn, but with a bomb!" Or did he say 'bong'? Either would have been appropriate for the stoner-action-comedy.

Dallas Green lent his time and immense talent on Thursday night to the 5th annual Barenaked in Rosedale. Besides talking about the great charity (Serve!) we chatted about his vice. And no, he doesn’t smoke or drink…but totally loves his Freezies. He loves them so much he can’t even bare to choose a favourite colour…err, flavour. I also asked the singer about his recent V-Fest Calgary gig to which he said was great…except for the negative press which came thereafter [see video].

Let me start off by saying that I am the epitome of petite – I’m 4’11”3/4. I prefer to round that number up to 5 feet. Shocking, isn’t it? So of course it made sense that I hit the Petite Fashionista Presents event at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown Toronto. Canadian rock star, Fefe Dobson came to check out the event and report for us. Cool, huh?

Rain was the name of the game on the red carpet at the 2008 MMVA's. We knew we were in troubs by 5:30 pm when we could see the storm clouds headed our way. It felt like hurricane weather! Poor Kristin Cavallari in her gorgeous dress was caught in the middle of it all (how come her hair remained in tact while mine fell flat?) Meanwhile, I was scrambling to salvage my notes (didn't pan out) with no shoes on (don’t ask!). As it turns out, NKOTB were the evening's only bright skies.
