Gosselins Vow to Shut Their Mouths...for Now
We'll believe it when we see it—or rather, when we don't see it, hear it or read about it—but after what we can only imagine was a contentious weekend for anyone bearing the surname Gosselin, something of a détente has been called, at least temporarily, between Jon and Kate.
"We have a truce," Jon's attorney, Mark Heller, told E! News. "Neither side will be commenting until after the hearing."
A noble if exceedingly tardy gesture, to be sure, but all won't be quiet on the Gosselin front for too long: The silence-breaking hearing of which Heller speaks is taking place tomorrow.
The arbitrator's conference will be held in Pennsylvania at an as yet undisclosed location (in other words, not the courthouse) most likely at an attorney's office.
Over the weekend, Kate's attorney, Mark Momjian, told E! News that the duo will attempt to hash out agreements on "economic issues"—all 235,000 of them, we're guessing—during the hearing. Last week, Kate filed for temporary spousal and child support from Jon.
Wow, 24 hours without the Gosselins? What's an entertainment site to cover? Oh, yeah.

OMG! Did Hailey Glassman Just Dump Jon Gosselin?
Sorry may not have been the hardest word for Jon Gosselin to say on last night's Larry King Live sitdown (he said it enough times to dispel that notion), but it certainly seemed to be the hardest word for Hailey Glassman to hear.
"Its time 2 move on This drama has taken over my life, nevermind the entire like world So beyond stressful. Like living in a state of paranoia!" she tweeted this morning.
Despite how that sounds, Glassman, who watched her beau's prime-time appearance from New York and did not accompany him to Los Angeles for the taping, says that she and Gosselin haven't split up—though it may be fair to say the duo did ever so briefly hit a rough patch.
"We are not broken up," she exclusively tells E! News. "People don't break up via Twitter."
But they do tweet their grievances...

Jon Gosselin Slams the Brakes on His Divorce!?!
It's not what you think.
On second thought, it's exactly what you think: The Gosselin who found himself on the losing side of the public sympathy battle is taking a stab at some crafty legal (not to mention PR) maneuvering in a bid to save a little face and not get completely short-shrifted in his divorce.
Which, with Kate as our witness, will go through as planned.
While Jon Gosselin's rep confirmed to E! News that the octodad did in fact cop to In Touch Weekly that he "used poor judgment in publicly socializing with other women so soon" after his divorce—and sorry Hailey, that was his plural, not ours—and that he would "like to get back with Kate as a partner in parenting," that's about as far as his plans for reconciliation span.
And that's despite his submission to a court-approved Pennsylvania arbitrator this morning seeking to suspend his divorce proceedings for 90 days.

DJ AM's Tummy Tucker Talks: "What a Phenomenal Guy"
DJ AM's death wasn't only a loss to the music industry. According to his onetime plastic surgeon and pal Dr. Frank Ryan, it was a loss to philanthropy as well.
Ryan performed an abdominoplasty and liposuction on the artist born Adam Goldstein back in 2003 after being introduced to the celebrity spinner through then-girlfriend Nicole Richie. Speaking to E! News, Ryan had nothing but praise for AM, who, as recently as two months ago, told the doctor he was "absolutely great."
"Adam and I became friends after the surgery," Ryan said. "One side of him the public may not be aware of is he was very philanthropic. One of the things I want to get out to the public is what a phenomenal guy he was."
Ryan sat down with E! News to discuss the duo's first meeting, three years and 150 pounds after AM's gastric bypass surgery, Richie's role in his recovery, his workaholic nature and the dangers prescription pain killers can pose to onetime substance abusers.
Here's what the good doctor had to say:

Kari Ann Peniche: Sex Addiction, Yes; Madam, No
Kari Ann Peniche is not a Hollywood madam. She just plays one in a nude tape writes about them for school papers.
Offering up a strong entry in the annals of so-weird-they-must-be-true (right?) excuses, the clothes-eschewing swimwear designer has shut down speculation—spurred on by both her performance in the Eric Dane sex tape that wasn't as well as documented evidence from the Los Angeles Police Department—that she's experienced in the ways of call girl wrangling.
Instead, Peniche says the reason why her confiscated hard drive contains images of reputed madams is because she once wrote a college paper on the topic of prostitution.
It was an assignment she adamantly claims never turned extracurricular.

Adam Lambert Goes Gaga for Debut Album
Adam Lambert may have just revealed all personally, but he's apparently putting on a poker face for his professional debut.
Living up to his American Idol reputation, and nickname, Glambert has sought out the musical services of hit-making producer RedOne, the man behind Lady Gaga's two biggest hits and the person frequently credited—aside from the teacup-loving singer herself—with the recent resurgence of glam rock.
Sources tell E! News that Lambert spent the weekend holed up with the "Poker Face" and "Just Dance" producer in a Los Angeles recording studio.
While a label source said Lambert's debut will be heavy on "Queen-inspired" sounds, the guylined rocker has teamed with the Swedish-Moroccan producer (who has also produced for Akon, Enrique Iglesias and Michael Jackson, among others) to look "for a new sound that goes beyond what he did on Idol."
Lambert's debut album is due out this fall on RCA Recordings.

Speidi Quits Celebrity, Mystery Hills Star May Step In
They may or may not be celebrities. They're definitely out of there.
Not even the promise of three weeks' worth of prime-time self-promotion was enough to keep Heidi and Spencer Pratt from jumping ship on I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
Though their first attempt at quitting NBC's jungle-set reality competition didn't stick, Speidi has, for the second and ostensibly final time, vowed to abscond from Costa Rica after being unable to shampoo rough it.
All told, the duo's run will last just two episodes. They will return for the live portion of tonight's show before bowing out. Sources confirm to E! News that the Pratts are scheduled to return to Los Angeles later tonight, immediately after the taping.
"They're leaving right after the live portion of the show," an NBC source said. "The fact that they are leaving the show and deserting their charities is lame."
Meanwhile, E! News has exclusively learned that I'm a Celebrity… producers are trying to replace the rapping, breakdown-prone couple with another member of The Hills cast, who would continue playing for the couple's chosen charity.
The identity of the replacement remains hush-hush at this point.
I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! runs Monday through Thursday on NBC, with the finale set for June 24.

Lindsay: "It Would Be Really Nice If People Would Believe In Me"
Make no mistake, all that time in the unsolicited spotlight hasn't left Lindsay Lohan unscathed.
The frequently hounded star has spoken out exclusively to E! News, relaying that the incessant public speculation over the status of her sobriety, the healthiness of her bank account and, perhaps most of all, her relationship with Samantha Ronson has indeed taken a toll.
"They need to stop saying we're fighting," she said of the media's fixation on the ups and downs—though mainly downs—of her love life with Ronson.
"People telling lies about me to her and all this garbage. I'm really a good person and I have a good heart and just want to work and the only reason I go to clubs is to hear Samantha spin or be normal."
Lohan urges people not to believe everything they read.
"I don't drink, I don't do drugs and I don't lie," she said. "I love to act and write and be creative and I want to help people by playing characters that can send a positive message out to whomever may need it."

Holly Madison and Criss Angel Kaput
Now you see them, now you don't.
The original Girl Next Door, Holly Madison, has amicably parted ways with her Mindfreak beau Criss Angel after nearly four months of dating.
"She was very much in love with him and they're still very close friends," a source close to the former couple told E! News, adding that the decision to split was mutual.
"It was a conflict of schedules. She felt she couldn't devote 100 percent of her time in Vegas and his career at the expense of her career and her goals."
The 29-year-old Madison and 41-year-old Angel had been cohabitating at the magician's Sin City abode since December, but the Playboy pinup recently moved back in with family.
A Change of Tune We Can Believe In: Ludacris, McCain Call Truce
Looks like there may be peace in our time, after all. At least as far as unlikely reconcilers Ludacris and Sen. John McCain are concerned.
The lightning-rod rapper made nice with the politico during Sunday's NBA All-Star Game, offering an apology to both the senator and wife Cindy McCain for any offense caused by Luda's inflammatory rant against the onetime presidential candidate in his song, "Politics (Obama is Here)."
The rapper made headlines last summer, and earned himself an official rebuke from President Barack Obama's campaign, as a result of the rap, which included the roundly offensive lyric, "McCain don't belong in any chair unless he's paralyzed."
On Sunday, however, Ludacris was apparently back in gentleman mode, approaching the McCains at Phoenix's U.S. Airways Center during a break in the game and offering a handshake and an apology to the couple.
The trio was sitting near each other during the game and spoke pleasantly for several minutes.
Also on hand to witness the reconciliation: Eva Longoria, who was seated next to Cindy, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Corbin Bleu and Spike Lee.

FBI Joins in "Sensitive" Travolta Extortion Case
The FBI is lending a hand—or, more accurately, ear—into the alleged extortion plot of John Travolta and Kelly Preston, with special voice-analysis experts assisting Bahamas police with the case.
The specialists were needed, sources told E! News, because the police inquiry is now centering on "sensitive" phone conversations that allegedly took place between Senator Pleasant Bridgewater, who quit her parliament post after being charged with abetment and conspiracy to extort over the weekend, and lawyers for Travolta.
The conversations revolved around documents obtained by ambulance driver Tarino Lightbourne, the paramedic who claimed he was present when 16-year-old Jett Travolta died on Jan. 2.
According to sources, Lightbourne, who pleaded not guilty today to attempted extortion and conspiracy, believed that the mystery documents would have caused embarrassment to the Travoltas and possibly left them open to criticism and questioning over how they addressed the seizure that resulted in Jett's death.

Madonna and A-Rod Get Mile High
Madonna's only four days removed from her quickie divorce from Guy Ritchie, but the Material Cougar doesn't seem to be wasting much time on the singles scene.
E! News has learned that the 50-year-old Queen of Pop enjoyed the cozy company of 33-year-old rumored boytoy Alex Rodriguez during a late-night private flight Monday, with the keep-'em-guessing couple arriving in Miami in the wee hours this morning.
The duo departed from Atlanta Monday, shortly after Madonna completed the Georgia stop on her Sticky & Sweet Tour and landed just before 2 a.m.
"They got right into an SUV and drove away," a source at Miami's Signature Airport told E! News. "They didn't want anyone to see them."
Leave it to Madonna to ensure her flights of fancy include an actual flight.
