At least Clay Aiken kept his big announcement relatively drama-free. The same can't be said for Lindsay Lohan.
The former teenage drama queen seemed to announce earlier this week that she and perpetual sidekick Samantha Ronson are dating and have been for "a very long time"—comments that produced a collective shrug from the tabloid-reading masses, who've suspected as much, and a big thumbs-down from her daddy dearest, Michael.

If it were her prerogative, you'd think Britney Spears would have downed her lingering legal woes faster than a Frappuccino.
But the wheels of justice move slowly and the pop princess has other things to concern her.
While Spears plots her latest comeback—her new album Circus is coming to town Dec. 2, her 22nd birthday—her army of lawyers deployed to various courthouses in Southern California today to attempt to tidy up her docket.
