Lindsay Lohan's Mom on Tape: She's a "Mess"

Lindsay Lohan Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images

Dina Lohan got punched in the face when she tried to get Lindsay into rehab last year—so why do we still feel sorry for LiLo?

Because the revelation is just part of another audio recording released by daddy dearest Michael Lohan to Radar Online as part of his so-called concern for his daughter's life.

"You don't even know what I'd go through trying to get her into, like, rehab and stuff," Dina is heard telling Michael over the phone in a conversation dated September 2008. "She'd like, punch me in the face, kick me out of the car...like you don't know the (expletive) I went through trying to get her an intervention by myself.  It was very difficult."

Rachel Bilson Slips Us the Tongue

Rachel Bilson AUZ/bauergriffinonline.com

What could possibly have caused the former O.C. starlet to flash us her tongue on the way to a photo shoot at L.A.'s Miauhaus Studios?

Is she just as P.O.'d over the balloon boy hoax as we are? Or is it a reaction to the casting of her BF Hayden Christensen in Jumper 2? (Stay put this time.)

Either way, the gesture's got us feeling like silly little kids. Real nice beanie, Rach. Nyah, nyah!

Lindsay Lohan's Love Shot Down!

Lindsay Lohan, Twitter Page Twitter

Dark forces are keeping Lindsay Lohan from being with her true love. But where there's a broken heart, there's a Twitter account just begging for an outburst.

"I'm in love with her, as she is with me," writes poor LiLo of Samantha Ronson. But it's that darn Ronson clan who is keeping these star-crossed lovers apart. "Her family will cut her off if she contacts me…they hate her brilliance&resent her happiness."

We're gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that Ma and Pa Ronson might be a lot more sympathetic, Linds, if you weren't giving the world constant updates on the state of your relationship with Sam and her fam. Just a thought.

David Hasselhoff's Pity Party of One

SJP's Less-Than-Fancy Footwork

Sarah Jessica Parker Mauceri/Donnelly/INFphoto.com

Holy Manolo! Are those Birkenstock sandals we spy on Sarah Jessica Parker's feet? As she makes her way to designer Carlos Miele's downtown boutique to film a commercial, no less!

Walking around Manhattan (or specifically the cobblestoned Meatpacking district) may not be easy in heels, but millions of women do it every day because of Sex and the City's stiletto fetish.

So suck it up, SJP. You don't get to change the game—or the gear—midway through. Just slip those pretty shoes back on your dainty feet and we'll forget we ever saw you in these clunkers.

HSM 3's Pizza Party

Hollywood starlets, they're a lot like us.

The rehearsing cast of High School Musical 3 took a snack break at local Salt Lake City pizza parlor Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana last Tuesday, E! News has learned.

Disney stars Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens patronized the joint and split a margherita pizza and salad, with the total bill coming to less than $20 bucks.

And according to Mike the manager, the girls left a very generous tip, doubling the actual bill. "They were supernice and generous and left a big tip. Really big. Really nice of them."

OK, so maybe they're a little like us...but a lot more generous!

Gossip Girl Gets Really Busy

Gossip Girl OMFG poster The CW

Hot dayum! The CW is trying a spankin' new campaign for the return of Gossip Girl (April 21) that's sure to get some attention—good, bad or naughty.

One midorgasm moment being promoted features Serena and Nate putting the F-factor in OMG, while the second one stars Blair and Chuck looking slightly less, uh, rapturous.

It's a brilliant marketing campaign. Heck, we'll be tuning in now. But how do you think the passion gonna play in less permissive markets, even if, as insiders say, the F in OMFG will only appear in select locations?

Most Dramatic Costume Change

More from 2008_oscars

No doubt about it, Kristin Chenoweth looked great on the red carpet sporting a black strapless Armani Privé gown and Tiffany & Co. jewels.

But come showtime, the Pushing Daisies star had changed into a layered tulle dress for her performance of "That's How You Know" from Enchanted. And that wasn't the only difference—Kristin's hair went from pulled back to loose 'n' curly.

We liked her first getup just fine and wouldn't have bothered to change, but hey, that's us. How about you? Which fashion-doll version of the actress is your favorite—sleek sophistication or free-flowing glamour? Cast your vote below.

Underwood's Duds? Hot off the Runway

More from 2008_grammys

That was fast. Carrie Underwood is working the Grammys red carpet in a gauzy floral gown from designer Zuhair Murad that was seen on the runway literally just days ago in New York as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Either the former Idol and nominee for Song of the Year has some great style connections (and a top-notch courier service), or the backstage crew at the Murad show is missing one very important gown.

Skin's Always In at the Grammys...
But How Much Can You Take?

The Oscars may be the belle of the awards-season ball, but—Björk aside—it isn't the place to take any risks on the red carpet. Nope, the good stuff seems to always come out at the Grammys, like Jennifer Lopez's attention-grabbing turn in that Versace dress in 2000, which put her on the fashion map.

Sometimes, taking a chance pays off. Fergie (above) opted to cover herself in little more than a sparkly tea towel in 2007 and got away with it.

Sometimes, the big reveal bombs. Pink might as well have fished her 2003 costume out of a bargain bin at Frederick's, while Sheryl Crow's 2005 Grammy dress looks like it did battle with a pack of moths...and lost.

Still, we're grateful for these looks we love to hate—at least they make us sit up and take notice. Rock on with your bad (taste) selves!
