Joel McHale is still hot for teacher!

NBC confirms to us exclusively that former Grey's girl Lauren Stamile, who recently appeared in Community's Halloween episode as Jeff's (Joel) stats teacher, will return for a multiple-episode arc later in the season.

"Lauren played Patrick Dempsey's love interest on Grey's Anatomy and is now my love interest," Joel tells us. "So eat that, Patrick Dempsey!"

(Did we ever mention how much we love Joel McHale?)

But wait a minute. When we last saw Lauren's character Michelle, Jeff was desperately trying to hook up with her and it didn't seem to go anywhere.

So what happened? Well, we just hit the Community set and here's the juicy secret...

Rihanna and Chris Brown Battle It Out Via Music Video

With videos like these, it's almost as if Rihanna and Chris Brown were hoping for mass-media scrutiny to follow.

As promised, the two megastars debuted their new music videos on Friday, the first for each since the highly publicized incident last February, and spoiler alert: they're both left wide-open for interpretation.

Rihanna's "Russian Roulette" portrays some seemingly real emotion as the songstress bounces back-and-forth between writhing around a padded cell, and facing off with a rather muscluar man presenting her with a loaded gun.

Representative of her relationship battles with Brown? Likely Perhaps, but far more unstated than her former counterpart's attempt.

You can't deny Brown's ability to bust-a-move in his videos, but "Crawl" just feels like another one of Camp Chris' ploys for public pity. The song is great, but casting R&B singer Cassie—often touted as Rihanna 2.0, with her strong fashion statements and outlandish hair styles—to play Brown's faux famous-ex? Not cool.

Now you decide, who gave fans the best comeback video: Rihanna or Chris Brown?

Taylor Swift Sweetly Scewers Kanye, Joe Jonas On SNL

Not since the days of Will Ferrell and Tina Fey has Saturday Night Live been able to deliver a full hour-and-a-half of laughs, but leave it to Hollywood's golden girl to change all of that.

Taylor Swift played host and musical guest of the season's best SNL, and the country-crossover sensation did so with grace and dignity by not mentioning all of the things we were dying to hear—well, sort of.

Swift wrote a little ditty to kick off the show called "Monologue Song (La, La, La)," in which the star serenaded the world by discussing the things she would not be...discussing.

Like little ol' Kanye-gate, perhaps? "You might be expecting me to say something bad about Kanye [West]," crooned Swift. "But there's nothing more to say because everything's okay...I've got security lining the stage," the songstress teased as Bill Hader and Jason Sudekis joined her side.

And Joe Jonas got it worse. "You might think I'd bring up Joe, that guy who broke up with me on the phone, but I'm not gonna mention him in my monologue," Swift continued with a grin, "Joe, I'm doing real well—tonight I'm hosting SNL!"

Swift all but confirmed her status with rumored love Taylor Lautner, singing: "And if you're wondering if I might be dating the werewolf from Twilight," then stopping to wave at the camera, mouthing "Hi Taylor," and blowing him a kiss.

Outside of the tween realm, watch Swift take on the ultimate role: rocking the Kate Gosselin wig in The View sketch.

Susan Boyle Set to Serenade Dancing with the Stars

Susan Boyle, Britain's Got Talent ITV

Susan Boyle may not have dreamed the dream of being a dancing queen, but that's not stopping her from performing alongside a few of them.

The Britain's Got Talent phenom is making her way back to the States to perform on next week's Dancing with the Stars, People reports. No word on what the Scottish songstress will sing, but we're willing to bet she'll grace the stage in her glamorous new get-up.

And Boyle's brother says the reality show runner-up is just as excited as we are. "She loves America and loves the people," says John Boyle. "She appreciates their honesty."

Boyle's debut album I Dreamed a Dream hits stores Nov. 24.

Kris Allen's Time Is Running Out

It's no fancy-schmancy album cover art, but it sure is pretty.

American Idol champ Kris Allen has unveiled the music video for his first single, "Live Like We're Dying," and overall, it's pretty standard. A guitar-wielding Allen performs his song in the middle of the desert on a larger-than-life-size digital clock, while countless unexplained tattered and torn curtains blown in the wind around him.

You know, that old chestnut.

The former Idoler does what he can to turn up the heat on the small screen, at one point literally throwing what looks to be a gigantic fire ball.

On the other had, as videos of the coffeehouse varitey go, it's not too shabby.

You decide: does this debut make a big splash or is it just another drop in the bucket?

Jon Gosselin Apologizes--Again--And Asks for Kate's Forgiveness

Jon Gosselin INFphoto.com

Déjà vu.

During Jon Gosselin's Sunday night appearance at New York City's West Side Jewish Center, the world's most famous reality dad had yet another public epiphany, alongside his newest companion, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach.

Everything got covered during Gosselin's forum, Gawker reports, including his excuse for arriving 40 minutes late. When he got over his own tardiness, he shared on his desire to be out of the spotlight, his rumored split with Hailey Glassman and his request for forgiveness from his estranged wife, Kate.

"I think I'm just misunderstood. I'm not a fame seeker. Everyday I look in the mirror and I wonder [why I'm famous]," asked the reality star at the public event. "I don't sing. I don't dance. I'm not a Nobel Peace Prize winner. I just had eight kids and I had a show on TLC."

TLC fame or not, Gosselin says he in no way condones his actions over the past few months.

"Half the stuff I've done, if I look at my moral compass, I shouldn't have done," he said. "I know that, but I did it anyway. It's like fame canceled out conviction. I didn't grow up this way. But I have to keep on going, keep on working and providing." And in regards to his children, Gosselin stated: "I know I'll have to explain my actions."

Edward Norton, Alanis Morissette and More Race to New York City Marathon Finish Line

Edward Norton, MAASAI WARRIORS Trust Donna Ward/ Getty Images

Edward Norton came in first in the New York City Marathon's gold medal on Sunday—in the actors, musicians and performers category, that is.

Norton finished the 26-mile race in an astonishing three hours, forty-eight minutes and one second. The 40-year-old Fight Clubber referred to his first experience as "phenomenal," participating on behalf of the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust, a Kenya-based charitable organization.

(Also phenomenal: overall winner Meb Keflezighi, who ran the course in 2 hours, 9 minutes and 15 seconds.)

Other celeb-marathoners included ER's Anthony Edwards, who crossed the finish line shortly after Norton, and singer Alanis Morissette, who finished just under four-and-a-half hours.

E!'s own Daily 10 host Sal Masekela ran the race as well, though he fell a bit short of his goal beating Sean "Diddy" Combs' 2003 time. After the race was through, Sal tweeted the news: "Well Tweeps, I let you down. Didn't beat @iamdiddy. Hit a wall from hell at 18. Finished around 5 hrs. Hardest thing I've ever done."

The Strokes bass player Nikolai Fraiture and The Biggest Loser record breaker Tara Costa both pounded the New York pavement as well, finishing just 26-seconds apart at the four hour, 23-minute mark.

Rumored participants Teri Hatcher and daredevil David Blaine were absent from the festivities.

Norton's next run will be on Modern Family, when the star stops by a November episode as a one-hit wonder, has-been musician.

Taylor Not So Swift on Her Feet After Ellen's Spookapalooza

Why in the world would anyone want to take down Taylor Swift?

For a good laugh, of course! It was a week of silly scares on The Ellen Degeneres Show, and the leading lady pulled out all the Halloween stops to spook the stars who stopped by—the most memorable being America's sweetheart.

Setting up a hidden camera-filled, fake green room for guests, Ellen hid in the bathroom and and jumped out at the unsuspecting celebs. Poor Taylor was beyond terrified and after letting out an adorable screech (as only Taylor could do), she ended up face-down on the floor.

Check out Ellen's other freaked out folks below, including David Spade, Lauren Graham and Mario Lopez—plus a chivalrous late-night talk show host who comes to the funnylady's rescue.

Ivanka Weds In Typically Trump Fashion

Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner Niche Media/Getty Images

We've gotta hand it to them—understated is just not a Trump thing.

Ivanka Trump wrapped her three-month engagement on Sunday, tying the knot with publisher fiancé Jared Kushner before 500 friends and famiy members in a private ceremony, according to People.

The intimate lavish affair took place at one of The Donald's countless stomping grounds, Trump National Golf Club in New Jersey, with Ivanka walking down the aisle in a Grace Kelly-inspired Vera Wang gown.

On hand to entertain at the reception was Donald Trump bestie Regis Philbin, who serenaded the newlyweds.

In the hours leading up to her big day, the bride kept fans in the mix via Twitter.

"At a very casual 'rehearsal' dinner with friends...just 5 of my lady friends and me having a casual dinner and getting excited," Trump tweeted Saturday night. "Perfect!"

And pre-wedding jitters? Who needs 'em! Ivanka could hardly contain her excitement. "Just finished a gorgeous hike. The leaves are spectacular and the sun is shining," she wrote. "Everything is simply perfect! I'm getting married today!"

After two years of on-again, off-again dating, Kushner popped the question in July. The 27-year-old heiress immediately tweeted the good news, writing: "I got engaged last night...truly the happiest day of my life!!!"

After her dream-wedding-made-reality, we're betting today takes the cake.

Paramount Wants More Paranormal Activity

Paranormal Activity Paramount Pictures

Can there ever really be too much of a good thing?

Paramount Pictures is willing to test that theory. "We have the rights on a worldwide basis to do 'Paranormal 2,' studio Chairman Brad Grey tells the Los Angeles Times of newly-released sleeper-hit Paranormal Activity. "We're looking to see if that makes some sense."

The out-of-nowhere box office powerhouse cost just $15,000 to produce, and has already brought in an upwards of $62.5 million.

Would a Paranormal sequel go the way of the second Blair Witch Project—absolutely nowhere? Only time will tell.
