Another one of Love's loves bites the dust!

After publicly fawning over each other for the past year, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy are officially dunzo, confirms People.

Details surrounding the split are private, but rumors of a rocky romance have plagued the two since Kennedy skipped his ladylove's birthday bash in February.

"I didn't even hear his name mentioned," a source told E! News exclusively at the '80s-themed celebration.

The unlikely duo, and Ghost Whisperer costars, publicly announced their relationship last March when Kennedy visited Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show. "Yes, we are dating," he gushed. "We're more than dating, we're more than in love."

Unfortunately, it looks like Love's bedazzled girly parts weren't as effective as promised!

At least these Kissing Costars are still going strong.

They say sometimes you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince. Well, to hear a self-deprecating Jamie Kennedy tell it, sometimes it's just the opposite.

While appearing on the Halloween edition of the Bonnie Hunt Show Friday, Jamie jokingly recalled how his eventual relationship with Jennifer Love Hewitt didn't seem to have a ghost of a chance.

"The first time I met her I was at a party with Jerry O'Connell and I asked him, 'Who's that girl?' He said, 'That's J. Love,' and I said, 'She's really hot,' and he said, 'She's 16,' and I was like, ah crap.

"Then, a couple years later, I went to TRL to promote a movie and I went to go talk to her, but then Carson Daly came out and put his arm around her and I went, ah crap.

"Then a couple years after that I went to Starbucks and I went to talk to her and John Mayer came up and grabbed her ass, and I was like, ah crap.

"And now, at night when we're in bed together, we lay and she turns and looks at me and goes, ah crap."

Aww. Ain't, um, love, grand?

Sean Penn already knows how difficult he makes it to appreciate him. Luckily, it's not nearly as difficult to cast him.

Continuing his post-Oscar, post-separation acting windfall, Penn is in talks to star in This Must Be the Place, according to Variety.

Not one to fall prey to typecasting, this time around, Penn plays a wealthy and increasingly bored retired rock star who decides to set out to find the Nazi war criminal responsible for executing his father.

The not-so-feel-good film marks the English-language debut of Italian director Paolo Sorrentino, who also penned the script.

Jamie Kennedy always said he had stones. He just failed to mention that they were of the kidney variety.

The lucky in Love star met his health match last week when, while vacationing with Ghost Whisperer costar turned real life leading lady Jennifer Love Hewitt, he fell prey to the painful medical malady.

While the 38-year-old first felt sick on Tuesday of last week, it was enough to send him and Hewitt back to Los Angeles the following morning, where, according to People, the comic immediately checked into a hospital.

"He felt better later in the day and went home, but on Thursday he started hurting again and he went back to the hospital," a source told the magazine, adding that the star is now "on the mend" and under the care of his new better half.

"He's just home and feeling better."

In other words, those kidney stones can consider themselves X'ed.
