Drew Barrymore's Boy-Toy Brings the Funny on Another Boring SNL
Didn't we already use the phrase "lamest SNL sketch ever" last week?
Too bad.
Once again, the formerly fabulous Saturday Night Live left something to be desired, as six-time host Drew Barrymore tried her darnedest to muster up some laughs from the not-so-funny material she was given to work with.
The result? One semi-silly skit plugging a faux-new A&E series, Celebrity Ghost Stories. Real-life Barrymore beau Justin Long popped up as a shirtless, bongo playing Matthew McConaughey, and while the overall buffness factor was a little off, Long's Southern drawl was spot on. But it was SNL standout Abby Elliot who stole the show with her eerily uncanny impersonation of fellow funnylady Anna Faris.
Unfortunately, Barrymore drew the short straw and had the impossible feat of playing Sharon Osbourne—a role that Amy Poehler perfected during her days at SNL.

Adam Sandler Is a Big Baby
Adam Sandler has made a name for himself often playing adults who act like children. Well, now he's gone and taken it one baby step further.
In a creative effort to get butts into theater seats when the film Funny People opens July 31, a movie-within-a-movie-type clip has just been released. Let us quickly explain.
In Funny People, Sandler plays comic George Simmons, who has made his fair share of less-than-stellar cinema. One example, Re-Do, costarring Justin Long, is about a lawyer whose wish to be young again has gone horribly wrong.
Here's one Sandler, er, Simmons flick where we wouldn't mind seeing a sequel.

Rise 'n' Shine: Heidi Klum & Seal Dissed by Karl Lagerfeld Again!
• We're not quite sure why Karl Lagerfeld hates Heidi Klum so much, but the famed designer has publicly bashed the Victoria's Secret model yet again. Having previously claimed she was too fat for the catwalk, now he says no one in Paris has ever even heard of her, not even Claudia Schiffer. Additionally, the kind soul attacks her husband, Seal, mocking his skin (which has scars leftover from a childhood illness).
• Even Paris Hilton's accountants thought Doug Reinhardt was a wasted investment.
• Here's exactly what Jon and Kate Gosselin need: advice from Rev. Run. That should solve all their problems.
• Looks like John Mayer and Fantasy Factory star Rob Dyrdek had quite the night out, concluding with a hospital visit and a stomach pumping. Yeah, good times.
• Shame! Mac dude Justin Long still sports a Motorola. He's so old skool!
• Look at this long enough and you'll understand the real reason Susan Boyle had to skip some performances…
• Dear Michael Phelps: This is an epic fail. Please make it stop. Love, Rise 'n' Shine

Drew Barrymore and Justin Long: Together Again?
Are Drew Barrymore and Justin Long back on?
While loads of celebs were at last night's Lakers game, Drew and Justin opted to rock out instead as they attended the Green Day concert together.
The on-and-off couple split appeared to be on again as they walked hand in hand to their car.
Maybe Drew's so happy to reunited with her former flame that she forgot to look in the mirror before going out? Love ya, Drew, but that outfit is atrocious!

Drew Barrymore Gets Grey Gardens Family Approval
Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange are getting high praise for their performances in HBO's Grey Gardens from the people who know the story like no other: Big Edie Beale's grandchildren.
"I thought it was spectacular," Michelle Beale, whose father (Phelan, Jr.) was Big Edie's older son, told me last night at the L.A. premiere at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
Michelle's cousin Christopher Beale (dad was Buddy Beale) added, "Very, very well done."
Read on for more on what they have to say about Barrymore and Lange, why not everyone in the family is a fan of Albert and David Maysles' original documentary and why their dads wished cousin Jackie O had not cleaned up the now legendary estate.
Drew Barrymore Loves Her "Best Friend" Justin Long
The HBO movie Grey Gardens premiered last night in New York City, and Drew Barrymore channeled her character, the staunch Little Edie Beale (before the whole living-in-a-rundown-East-Hampton-mansion-with-raccoons-and-no-electricity thing), in a glamorous beaded Alberta Ferretti dress and veiled headpiece.
But more pressing than her fabulous look—where is that ex-boyfriend she's been hanging out with again, Justin Long?!
Does Drew Barrymore Still Long for Justin?
We just can't help but be into Drew Barrymore and Justin Long.
Ever since their breakup last summer, we've been holding out hope that the cute costars would eventually reconcile, and lately, it sure seems to be heading in that direction.
While Drew and Justin simply kept it cordial last month as they promoted He's Just Not That Into You, the two were seen out together one night a couple of weeks ago, where they reportedly found themselves in a bit of a lip-lock.
But this weekend the pair ventured out together (in the daytime, no less!) for a little lunch at The Farmer's Market in Hollywood. When asked if they are dating again, Drew's rep told us, "Nope, but I appreciate the chance to respond!"
Meanwhile, here's your chance to respond. Do you think Drew and Justin should get back together, or should he not even bother trying to be Charlie to her Angel?
