She certainly looks content sucking that nicotine stick, doesn't she?

Ah, but don't let this picture fool you, as Katherine Heigl has tried repeatedly to snuff out her cigs, telling InStyle magazine recently that she finds the habit "so stupid."

Well, if there's one person who might actually provide an incentive for the Grey's Anatomy star to stop lighting up, it's her newly adopted daughter, Naleigh.

Unfortunately, the same probably can't be said for the folks who have a penchant for puffing in our Up in Smoke gallery!

Last week Katherine Heigl stopped by Ellen DeGeneres' show to announce she and husband Josh Kelley were adopting a little Korean girl.

And now she would like to share pictures of 10-month-old Nancy Leigh or, as Heigl notes on her Jason Heigl Foundation website, "She will go by the nickname Naleigh."

The three make such an adorable family, it's definitely going to make it harder to get angry at Katherine for all her entitled complaining. 

So congrats! May the future be filled with many more touching family photos where everyone wears complementary-colored (but not matchy-matchy!) sweaters.

Katherine Heigl's family tree is sprouting a new limb.

The Grey's Anatomy star, whose impending hiatus makes so much more sense now, is planning to adopt a baby with her singer-songwriter hubby Josh Kelley.

That's all her rep would confirm, but so what? Congratulations to the parents-to-be!

Heigl and Kelley swapped vows on Dec. 23, 2007 in Park City, Utah.

"I'm super excited to have a family," she told Extra at the time. "I've always wanted a family, a large family. [We'll wait] like, a year."

And what's a few months extra when you're planning for a lifetime?

Aside from wanting to hear the pitter-patter of little feet, Heigl was obviously jonesing for a spot in our Hollywood's Hottest Moms gallery. Duh!

When you're throwing a baby shower, it can't hurt to have a doctor in the house…or at least someone who plays one on TV. 

Katherine Heigl served as host for Ellen Pompeo's baby shower Saturday afternoon, offering her Los Angeles home as the location for the mother-to-be's bash. 

Rebecca Gayheart, Kate Walsh and Sandra Oh were among the 25 guests in attendance at the outdoor, umbrella-embellished event, according to People.com. Pink floral arrangements and candles adorned tables to herald the impending arrival of Pompeo and hubby Chris Ivery's baby girl in October. 

The Grey's Anatomy star donned a flowy white dress and racked up gifts wrapped in pink and yellow, including a Sleep Sheep toy mobile, Sleepy Safari stacking toys, organic hooded towels and a Kiddopotamus organic swaddle wrap.

They got knocked up together, but these days it's more like they're trying to knock each other out.

Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow appeared on Howard Stern's radio show this morning to talk about masturbation and their new film Funny People, but the pair were soon airing some publicist-unapproved opinions of Knocked Up cohort Katherine Heigl, who memorably revealed to Vanity Fair she found the film "a little sexist" and that it "paints the women as shrews."

Rogen and Apatow started riffing on the uplifting elements of Heigl's vibrating panties in The Ugly Truth, before Rogen dropped this quote, "I gotta say, it's not like we're the only people she said some bats--t crazy things about. That's kind of her bag now."

So after all this she said-he said stuff, who's left holding the bag? Rogen, who's also in a spat with the guys from Entourage, or Heigl, who seems free with her opinions by Hollywood standards?

So, was Izzie's fate sealed by Katherine Heigl's weekend?

Heigl, whose ultimate future on Grey's Anatomy is one of the small screen's great questions, proved her big-screen worth yet again with an estimated $27 million Friday-Sunday debut for The Ugly Truth.  

The romantic comedy, pairing Heigl with 300's Gerard Butler, took third in the box-office standings behind the family-drawing, hamster-powered comedy G-Force ($32.2 million) and the still-big, but somewhat-sapped Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince ($30 million).
