Once upon a time, Snoop Dogg told us he'd like to hit the studio with Miley Cyrus or the Jonas Brothers.

Sadly, he's singing a different tune these days.

When we caught up with the rapper in April, he told us that he'd like to "make some gangsta pop music" with the Disney sensations.

But when we ran into him last night at the launch of Adidas Originals by David Beckham and James Bond in L.A., he quickly backtracked...

Miley, Demi, Selena & the JoBros Are the World

No need to pinch yourselves, tweeners. You're not dreaming.

Disney has gathered their brightest stars, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez and the Jonas Brothers for a "We Are the World"-like music video for Friends for Change: Project Green. "Send It On" is meant to unite the kiddies in green living and protecting planet Earth.

We think that's why they ditch the big stage and energy-sucking bright lights for the great outdoors. We were too distracted by the oh-so-convenient intimate pairing of Miley and Nick Jonas in the beginning. And then we were bugged by Joe Jonas wearing yet another pink shirt and impressed with Selena out-adorabling the lot of them. But we guess there was some sort of charitable point.

Somehow, though, the whole thing seems far less poignant than Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and tons of other major stars teaming up for humanitarian aid in Africa. Maybe that's because it had nothing to do with powerful mice.

Teen Scene: Twilight, Britney and...President Obama?

More from Marc Malkin

Twilight fans, rejoice!

Robert Pattinson & Co. have some of the best seats in the house at this weekend's Teen Choice Awards.

But before we get into who is sitting where and with whom, I wanna fill ya in on some other goodies I just got for you during my exclusive sneak peek of what's in store for the annual surfboard awards show.

Here we go…

Reports of Britney Spears performing during Sunday's taping of the show (it airs on Monday on Fox) have been greatly exaggerated.

Britney will be there, though. She's not only a multiple-nominee, but she's receiving the Ultimate Choice Award.

"But," says Bob Bain, executive producer of the show, "if at three o'clock on Sunday afternoon she calls and says, 'I've changed my mind,' we will figure it out and make it happen."

So, what's up with Twilight? Plus, did the Jonas Brothers, who make their debut as hosts of the show, snag President Obama to take part? Keep reading to find out...

The Jonas Brothers Are Total Fairy Tale Creatures

Jonas Brothers' Twitter Picture twitter.com/Jonasbrothers

Nothing really beats a good costume gag…or three.

The Jonas Brothers apparently have found the ultimate cure for on the road ennui. Wear a silly costume.

Perhaps we should have seen this coming when Joe did that ridiculous Beyonce video, but we still got a chuckle when we clicked onto the photo they Tweeted and saw the Three Brothers Jo dressed as the Three Little Pigs. (Question: does that make Miley Cyrus the Big Bad Wolf?)

It wasn't their first goofball moment of the week either.

This weekend, Joe was spotted looking like he'd just arrived from a DeLorean. Monday, he showed his true, juicy colors as a bunch of grapes.

And big brother Kevin got in on the action—or, got some action, as the case may be—when he posed as a baseball player who grabs his fiancé's behind! Best costume yet!

So, we have to ask, where's Nick's monkey suit?

________

Yeah, Nick! Why so serious? Oh yeah. This.

Kevin Jonas In No Rush to Lose His, Uh, Purity Ring

Kevin Jonas, Danielle Deleasa Juan Soliz , PacificCoastNews.com

Fan girls, be warned: Get engaged to a Jonas Brother and they may spend more time honing their Neil Diamond impression and getting name-checked in Emmy acknowledgments than putting the finishing starting touches on your big day.

Such is the case with Kevin Jonas, who after two whole weeks of betrothed bliss has yet to set a date for his wedding to Danielle Deleasa (some white knight he turned out to be).

"We're kind of taking each day at a time," Deleasa's aunt, Christina Longo, told E! News. "The family's busy, and with touring and all..."

With touring and all, the Jonas Brothers are scheduled to remain on the road through November, meaning the young couple is unlikely to tie the knot at least until Christmas.

Maybe some kind words from his future in-laws will help tide him over?

"He's just a wonderful guy and we love him," Longo said.

Now there's a sentiment worth waiting for.

You just know the purity ring-eschewing Russell Brand will throw in his two cents on the Jonas sitch when he returns as host of the VMAs this fall. Catch up on their feud here.

Kevin Jonas's Engagement = JoBros Jokes on Twitter

Nia Vardalos' s Twitter Page twitter.com/NiaVardalos

Yesterday, tweens everywhere lost a Jonas Brother (at least it was only Kevin) and Twitter did what Twitter does—addressed the breaking news with plenty of exclamation marks.

Naturally, the obligatory "congrats!!!" came from the boys' peers Miley, Demi Lovato and Jordin Sparks. So it was up to the more seasoned Twitterers to address this weighty situation properly.

Nia Vardalous tweeted one for the older ladies: "Kevin Jonas is engaged. I am one pissed off cougar."

And Diablo Cody celebrated the event with a zing: "Kevin Jonas is engaged! Next: Nick Jonas gets engaged way better." Hey-o!

In other news, people are tiring of the constant Michael Jackson coverage, especially after Bubbles the Chimp was interviewed on CNN last night. But at least John Mayer has jokes to deal with it: "There is so much news coverage on Michael Jackson, last night Anderson Cooper interviewed the tiger from the "Thriller" album cover."

Even MC Hammer had to express his irritation with the situation: "OK now CNN is back where I like them.. NEWS !!! Miss you Bud ! I said Bud...not Bubbles!!!"

And finally, everyone needs to take like two minutes out of their day and tweet Lindsay Lohan a "Happy Birthday." The poor birthday girl was missing a special someone right before she officially turned 23 at midnight and then Zoe Kravitz had to beg the Twitterverse to send Linds birthday wishes. So do it! Lindsay needs our attention/help!

Or if you don't want to give Lindsay your Twitter attention, give it to us @eonline.

One Jonas Brother Off the Market: Kevin's Engaged!

Kevin Jonas, Danielle Deleasa Juan Soliz , PacificCoastNews.com

There are only two Jonas Brothers left.

For girls to fantasize about marrying one day, that is!

Kevin Jonas, 21, has proposed to his girlfriend of two years, Danielle Deleasa, E! News confirmed Wednesday.

Deleasa, 22, met Kevin—the JoBro who has managed to have a private life—in May 2007 while their families were vacationing in the Bahamas.

"Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle for her hand in marriage," parents Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr. said in a statement. "Her answer was yes, and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date."

A rep for Kevin confirmed that he showed up at Deleasa's New Jersey home this morning with a ring he codesigned with Jacob & Co., and popped the question at her doorstep.

Rise 'n' Shine: New Jonas Brothers Video Takes Flight

•  The new Jonas Brothers video for "Fly With Me" has landed on the internet and features some stellar choreography. Joe may not be reprising his "Single Ladies" moves, but that stuff he does with the hat? Spectacular.

•  Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson might be back together again. Given all the house calls, were they ever really apart?

•  Even after starring in The Hangover, Bradley Cooper and Justin Bartha don't have very effective morning-after cures for a long night of drinking.

•  Looks like we won't be seeing Hugh Laurie on Broadway anytime soon unless Elton John develops House The Musical. Hey, it could happen!

•  Susan Boyle is back in Scotland with her cat, Pebbles. Of course she has a cat named Pebbles.

•  The bromance between Russell Crowe and Ridley Scott has taken a major turn for the worst, but picturing Amy Adams and Emily Blunt palling around makes us feel much better about it.

•  Dear Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams: You crazy newlyweds actually put together a pretty neat duet. Nice work. Love, Rise 'n' Shine

Fangirls, Riot Police Out in Full Force for JoBros Gig

The memo on waning Jonas Brothers mania apparently has yet to reach Lima, Peru.

Riot police were called to the city's oceanfront Marriot Hotel Sunday when more than 1,000 hormonal fans took to the streets to form a tearful, shrieking and otherwise order-be-damned welcome wagon for the brothers Jonas.

"There are thousands of fans outside the hotel," Kevin, Nick and Joe wrote on their website. "The police were called in to control the crowd…Can't wait to meet everyone!"

The feeling was apparently mutual.

"We just woke up to the sounds of fans screaming downstairs outside of our hotel," the siblings added this morning. "What a great way to start off our new world tour!"

The Disney-made brothers arrived in the South American nation in advance of two concerts set to take place tonight and tomorrow in the capital city. The second date was a late addition to the itinerary, added just days ago after the trio postponed a show in Mexico due to the swine flu scare.

As a result of the preteen (one hopes) swarm, police were forced to block off traffic in the streets surrounding the hotel. Dozens of megafans even went so far as to spend the night in a park neighboring the hotel in order to catch the first glimpse of the Joni.

Both of the Jonas Brothers' Lima concerts sold out within hours of tickets being made available, with 60,000 fans—and, presumably, their mothers—expected each night.

Jonas Brothers Ready to Get "Paranoid," Channel Johnny Depp

Jonas Brothers, Vines, Lines and Trying Times (album cover) Hollywood Records

Given the bomb that was the Jonas Brothers' 3-D movie, it's understandable that the Disney dudes get a little nervous before they drop their new album.

"Paranoid," the first single from Lines, Vines and Trying Times, lands on airwaves on May 8, and kicks off what is sure to be an exhaustive campaign and concert tour leading up to the album's June 16 drop date.

The promo tour has already launched with the boys gracing the cover of the latest issue of Seventeen magazine. And, no matter how they're feeling about their latest venture—anxious, excited, whatevs—they aren't afraid to share their lofty goals.

For example, in addition to making music, 19-year-old Joe Jonas wants to be one of the most sought after actors as well as pen one of the bestselling books in history.

"I think Johnny Depp's work is really great-he always incorporates music into what he does," he says when asked to list his acting role model. "[I also want to] write a book one day, because I love to read. The Alchemist [by Paulo Coelho] is my favorite book of all time."

Even if Kevin, Nick and Joe are uncertain of what's ahead, their label thinks the album just might change the world or something, calling it "an incredible music journey" and "a veritable smorgasbord of pop and rock gems."

With promises like that, the next single will probably be called "Insomnia."

Jonas Brothers Making Up for Movie Disappointment

Jonas Brothers ABC/CRAIG SJODIN

Perhaps that poor showing in the box office didn't signify the Jonas Brothers were done, after all.

The reason for the Disney megagroup's poor turnout for their movie, Jonas Brothers: 3D Concert Experience, is becoming rather apparent. Their tour—you know, the thing where you pay a lot more but you get to see them in person in a giant room with tens of thousands of other screaming fans—has sold out huge arena venues in many major cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Houston, Pittsburgh, Edmonton, New Orleans, Atlanta and Washington, D.C. In fact, the trio sold more than 800,000 total tickets when the shows went on sale this weekend.

Jordin Sparks, as well as Honor Society, are joining the boy band for the North American leg of the tour, while Demi Lovato will help them kick off the festivities in Latin America in May.

"Ticket sales for this tour have been phenomenal," says Jason Garner, chief executive officer for global music for Live Nation. "It's clear to us that Jonas Brothers are a true global touring powerhouse."

The good news follows the siblings' big win for Favorite Music Group at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards Saturday evening.
