Is Melrose Place star Katie Cassidy pulling a Carrie Underwood and dating a pro hockey player?

The blond bombshell told reporters at last night's Lisa Kline event for Division-E that she's coupled up, but declined to say exactly who the lucky guy is.
But we did some digging…
"I'm dating someone," a coy Cassidy said.
She revealed that he's not an actor but "kind of" in entertainment. She teased that his initials are "J.S."
"We met at a sporting event," she said. "We sat next to each other after the game."
The game took place at the Staples Center in L.A., but Cassidy said the mystery dude is not a basketball player.
In other words, it's Jarret Stoll of the Los Angeles Kings.
There has been some buzz linking the 23-year-old starlet and 27-year-old iceman, but a source now confirms to us that the two are definitely playing tonsil hockey dating. In fact, Stoll was by her side last night. No, not at the Lisa Kline event (she had pal Kellan Lutz there to keep her company), but at the Melrose Place wrap party at Hollywood Billiards.
Stoll was previously engaged to Rachel Hunter. He ended their three-year romance when he called off their August wedding in June.
Cassidy dated singer Jesse McCartney when she was still in her teens.
