With Suri Cruise being one of the most fashionable Hollywood kids around, it's easy to assume that mom Katie Holmes is the one doing the styling.
Turns out 3-year-old Suri does quite well on her own, thank you very much.
We caught up with Tom and Katie at last night's T: The New York Times Style Magazine party at Chateau Marmont. We talked Suri, and this is what they had to say…
"Just so you know, she dresses herself," Tom said. "She really does. She picks out everything on her own."
Katie added, "She really does. She has such cute style."
Like a proud papa, Tom says he doesn't "care one single bit" how popular Suri is with us folks here at Eonline—even if it means she upstages mom and dad. "I love it," he said. "I think that's great. How can you not love her? She's wonderful. I really appreciate that. She's a joy."
As for Suri going into show business, Tom said, "We want her to do whatever makes her happy. She can decide on her own."
Now back to the soiree, which was hosted by Times editors Gerald Marzorati and Stefano Tonchi and hotelier Andre Balazs and produced by New York City's über-party mastermind Peggy Siegal.
Crowding into the packed penthouse suite with Tom and Katie were Adam Lambert, Anna Kendrick, Ben Stiller, Chace Crawford, Glee's Dianna Agron and Matthew Morrison, Teri Hatcher, Quentin Tarantino, Molly Sims, Lindsay Lohan (with mom Dina and sister Ali), Chloë Sevigny, Ashley Olsen, Jessica Szohr, Zachary Quinto, Eli Roth and so many more.
Holmes' former fiancé Chris Klein was also there, but it didn't appear the former lovebirds ever interacted.
