How do you feed Hollywood's most powerful and fabulous peeps?

Ask Wolfgang Puck to do the cooking.

The über-celebrity chef is once again creating the menu for the Academy Awards' post-show Governors Ball.

What will the 1,600 guests be enjoying for din-din? Read on to find out...

How about lobster, Dover sole, paella, lots of sushi and the event's signature smoked salmon on an Oscar-shaped flatbread cracker with caviar and crème fraiche? Dessert will include raspberry lemon cake and pastry chef Sherry Yard's gold-dusted chocolate Oscars.

As for champagne, the bubbly will be flowing from 1,200 bottles of Moet & Chandon. Yes, 1,200 bottles!

"When they come out of the theater, everyone is hungry," Puck said earlier today at a press preview of the Governors ball. "They won't leave hungry."

The theme of this year's Ball is inspired by the music and the Hollywood nightclubs of the '30s and '40s. Mark Held of  Mark's Garden returns for his 18th year to create the gala's floral décor using a recordbreaking 13,000 flowers, including orchids, tulips and roses.

"This year is very different than any other year," Held said. "It's more playful. It's more colorful. Usually, it's more of a one-color theme and a bit more serious. This is kind of a wild breakthrough. It's all about color."
