90210: Just How Bad Will It Get for Dixon?

Things are about to go downhill for 90210's Tristan Wilds.
At least for Dixon, the character he plays on the prime-time soap opera.
Last we saw, Dixon found out that his older ex-girlfriend, Sasha (Mekia Cox), is pregnant with his child. Wilds says this is just the beginning of Dixon's problems...
Melrose Star Expected Heather to Be Like Amanda

Heather Locklear is nothing like the conniving evil be-yotch she played plays on Melrose Place.
So says Michael Rady, who costars on the revived prime-time soap as aspiring filmmaker Jonah Miller.
"It's totally surreal," Rady told me at last night's Environmental Media Awards in Hollywood about his scenes with Locklear. "I was expecting her to kind of be like Amanda Woodward, but she's just sweet and unassuming and very professional."

While Colin Egglesfield's dismissal from Melrose Place definitely came as a shock to his costars, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz's may not have been as surprising.
Stephanie Jacobsen, who plays med student/escort Lauren Yung on the revived prime time soap, says, "We'll miss them," but Simpson's future was always an unknown.
"I don't know whether Ashlee's involvement with the show was going to continue beyond the murder-mystery storyline she's been involved in," Jacobsen told me at last night's Vanity Fair/Guess? event for Invisible Children.
Egglesfield, however, is a completely different scenario…

Get ready for more and more skin on the new Melrose Place.
Shaun Sipos, who plays Michael Mancini's bad-boy son, David Breck, on the revived prime-time soap, tells me he's already been stripping down to his skivvies for some scenes.
"We do get naked," says Sipos, 27. "They've started to stick me in my underwear and have me running around a little bit."
In other words, he's been working out harder these days...

Thomas Calabro, who's reprising his role as Melrose Place's womanizing Dr. Michael Mancini, teases that he may swap spit with Pete Wentz's wifey on the revamped series, premiering tomorrow night on the CW.
Simpson-Wentz, 24, plays small-town gal Violet Foster on M.P.
"It obviously wouldn't be Michael Mancini without a hookup, and he obviously has to hook up outside of his marriage…[so] it's always a possibility," Calabro, 50, told us about a possible Michael-Violet tryst.
His character may still be up to his old tricks, but Calabro says there's also a lot that has changed about Dr. Mancini since the original show last aired 10 years ago…

Ashlee Simpson: Should Bronx Go Into Showbiz?
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz says it doesn't matter if Bronx, her son with rocker hubby Pete Wentz, decides to go into show business someday.
"I'm all about whatever it is Bronx likes to do and wants to do," Ash told E! News at Saturday's Melrose Place party in L.A. "Definitely going to follow what it is that he loves and hope to be a great parent in that way."
As for the return of Melrose, she said, "It's great to have some of the old cast members but at the same time, it's definitely a new show and hopefully we'll entertain the previous Melrose Place fans."
One of those former stars is Laura Leighton, who reprises her role of Sydney Andrews. Colin Eggelsfield, who plays her love interest, Auggie Kirkpatrick, says things are gonna get hot between them.

Twilight screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg isn't the only one who thinks hunky Channing Tatum would have been perfect to play Riley in Eclipse.
The G.I. Joe star's wife, Jenna Dewan, says director David Slade should have let hm sink his teeth into the role.
"I totally tried to get him to do it," Dewan told us earlier this week at the InStyle Summer Soirée at the London Hotel in West Hollywood. "I was like, 'Baby, do Twilight!' Oh, my god. I'm a huge Twilight fan. I've read all the books. So I was like, 'You should do it, you should do it, you should do it!'"

Will Melrose Place Alum Tune In for the Remake?

There will no more engine revving for Grant Show—at least not on any new Melrose Place sets.
Show played hunky biker bad boy Jake Hanson in the original prime-time drama. He says reviving his character on the CW's upcoming revamp isn't in the cards for him, but watching the new series certainly is.
"I have no intention of returning, but everyone I've talked to who has seen the new show says it's surprisingly very good," Show told us recently. "And hey, more power to them...Sure, yeah, I'll watch!"
Despite not having seen any episodes of the series yet, Show doesn't doubt it will be a success…

McCord says her 90210 character, Naomi Clark, would be a perfect match for Ed Westwick's Chuck Bass.
"I think the Beverly Hills bad girl should team up with New York's bad boy and have some fun," McCord told me this morning from Washington, D.C. (more on that in a moment). "It would be naughty-naughty."
And speaking of show crossovers, what about the possibility of 90210 and the upcoming Melrose Place revival?
"The producers have actually mentioned that to us," McCord said. "We don't know who or where or what or when yet, but they want that very much."
