Jesse Metcalfe may have made a name for himself by showing off his impressive pecs playing gardener John Rowland on Desperate Housewives, but that doesn't mean he'll be stripping down when he reprises his role in the upcoming season of the hit ABC series.

Alec Baldwin may want Michelle Obama to guest star on 30 Rock, but costar Jane Krakowski is aiming just a wee bit higher.

"I keep saying we've just got to get [Barack] Obama," Krakowski, who plays Jenna on the hit show, tells me. "We've had Steve Martin. We've had Oprah. We've had Jerry Seinfeld. We've had all these great musical greats. Let's just go for the big guns now."

Krakowski is thinking Jay Leno could help them land the president. "I always say, 'He was on The Tonight Show, so he's part of the NBC family,' " she laughs. "He might want to just come by."

"It's quite soon to decide that already she's found this style or that style. Sir Elton tells me he's hoping to meet with the president sooner than later to lobby about HIV/AIDS and gay rights.

"I want to go there as soon as possible to discuss [a national AIDS strategy] and gay marriage," John said at his 17th annual Oscar party and fundraiser for his AIDS foundation. "You read in papers that there are schools that won't even put on Rent! You think, 'Oh, my God! What kind of country is this?' Hopefully, with this administration we will be making headway."

Meanwhile, Drescher revealed that she's working on getting some face time with first lady Michelle Obama in April.
