Nothing strange about seeing Vanessa Minnillo show up at Nick Lachey's Super Skins annual bash—they are back together after all—but we were surprised to see a Simpson at his pre-Super Bowl soiree!

Shortly before Nick and Vanessa hit the carpet at Hotel 944 at Eden Roc, Joe Simpson was spotted heading up to the Platino Penthouse, where Snoop Dogg performed at midnight. (Maybe Joe's a closet fan?)

A source tells E! News that Joe is staying at the Eden Roc and knew Nick was hosting an event last night, although they haven't spoken in a while.

As for Nick and Vanessa's reconciliation, he says wedding bells aren't ringing again for him just yet...

Since his split with Vanessa Minnillo, Nick hasn't been giving any teary interviews or writing any angsty pop ballads like he did after his divorce from Jessica Simpson.

After her birthday breakup with Tony Romo, Jessica Simpson is smiling through the split with the help of her girls.

"Love my ladies!!!" she twittered Friday night. "Wish I could be with them every day of my life. Laughter is wonderful :)"

You might recognize the lady on the left as her former assistant and current bestie Cacee Cobb.

No word on what exactly Jess and her gals got into that night, but it's nice to see she's got some support.

Apparently, she's shouldn't expect any phone calls from Nick Lachey...

Just because exes Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson are both suddenly single doesn't mean they should give it another go, according to Nick's BFF, Matt Leinart.

"I didn't even know she was single," the footballer said at the Verizon Wireless Matt Leinart Foundation benefit at Lucky Strike last night. "That was a long time ago; they've grown up. It's in the past for a reason."

Although the news of Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey's split hadn't quite surfaced when she hit Reebok's Easytone party last night, she dropped hints when asked if they had any summer vacations planned.

"He's actually going on a guys' trip with his dad and his two brothers," Vanessa told us. "They're doing a safari, so I'm superjealous!"

Not only did Nick Lachey host the Super Skins bash at the Super Bowl, he popped up all over the Tampa party scene with brother Drew Lachey...and without his longtime girlfriend.

Vanessa Minnillo, who's also a big football fan, had been expected to join him at events, so what happened?

Nothing scandalous. "She had to work [at the] last minute," says Nick's rep of her absence, adding that the two are still a happy couple.

In town together for the big game were Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher.

After checking into the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel, they headed to 1Oak's Super Bowl preparty Saturday night, where they were spotted downing tequila shots with Brittany Snow.
