Nicole Kidman's Bra Cup Runneth Over—Briefly

More from The Soup

You'd think Nicole Kidman has it all.

The joyous parenting union with country hitmaker Keith Urban. The spotlight-free life in bucolic Nashville. The film career that keeps on giving.

But yet the gifted lady admits she is lacking in one department.

Boobs.

Until she was nursing daughter Sunday, at least, when the hormone fairy granted her breast wishes.

"They're not very big, my boobs, so they just became normal size," Kidman revealed to Ladies' Home Journal. "I loved it! I felt very Woman. When you've had a slightly androgynous body your whole life, having breasts is a nice feeling."

Presumably Keith goes along with that.

Chris Martin Who? Gwyneth Paltrow Stands By Her Woman

Nicole Kidman is apparently man enough for Gwyneth Paltrow. (The jury's still out on whether a certain Coldplay frontman can lay claim to the same.)

Her Goopness has signed on to play the wife of the world's first post-operative transsexual in The Danish Girl, the long-in-the-works film adaptation of the same-named novel.

She replaces Charlize Theron in the role of Greta, a portrait painter in the 1920s who encourages her husband to dress up and sit as her female model. The resulting artwork becomes wildly popular, her husband realizes he has more than a penchant for his womanly alter ego and presto, big-time change-o, Kidman's man turns into a woman.

Oscar, are you listening?

Let the Right One In's Tomas Alfredson directs the film which has yet to set a start date, pending financing.

Nicole Kidman's Kinky, Cruise-Free Comments

Nicole Kidamn, British GQ British GQ

Like it or not, our eyes are now wide open.

But we're not referring to Nicole Kidman's choice of clothing—or lack thereof—on the cover of British GQ. Rather, it's the kinky stuff she says inside.

While the Oscar winner starts off slow, saying she's explored "obsession," "loss and love" and "the mundane aspect of marriage and monogamy" in previous relationships, she quickly proceeds to kick it up a notch…

Nicole Kidman: Real Life Shouldn't Be Like the Movies

Nicole Kidman AP Photo/Susan Walsh

Just in time for the holiday season, Nicole Kidman turned up in Washington, D.C., to encourage peace on earth and good will toward women.

The Oscar-winning actress and Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) said today before a House Foreign Affairs subcommittee that she is through with roles that sell tickets sexually objectify and demean women, while admitting that movie stereotypes "probably" contribute to instances of violence in real life—though Hollywood has also "contributed to solutions."

"I can't be responsible for all of Hollywood but I can certainly be responsible for my own career," said Kidman, who was on Capitol Hill to promote the International Violence Against Women Act and, of course, lobby for more funds for programs that aid the fairer sex around the globe.

"I am far from an expert, I rely on the people I've met to make the case," she continued, adding that crimes like rape and domestic violence recognize "no borders, no race or class."

"In the real world, the laws go unenforced and impunity is the norm. We need the money."

Move Over, R. Pattz? Connor Cruise Continues Quest for Stardom

Tom Cruise, Connor Cruise Jeff Gross/Getty Images

What do you do when some press-hungry whackjob tries to out Michael Jackson as your biological father? Well, if you're Connor Cruise—and we should all be so lucky—you keep your head down and your acting chops up.

The 14-year-old budding thespian (and son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, thankyouverymuch) has signed on to star in his second big-screen offering, a remake of the '80s action flick Red Dawn.

Cruise the younger will play the son of the local mayor, who along with three pals form an unlikely insurgency against enemy invaders.

We'd say Tom couldn't be prouder of his boy, but, as dad's own United Artists is producing the film, he probably couldn't be all that surprised, either.

Michael Jackson Coming Soon to a Theater Near You

The King of Pop is about to become a movie star.

The judge hearing the execution of Michael Jackson's estate got the chance to play studio exec today, effectively greenlighting This Is It by signing off on a deal allowing Columbia Pictures to turn AEG's footage of the singer's comeback rehearsals (and, as it happens, final days) into a feature-length film.

The film, for which Columbia wasted no time setting the Thrillerific release date of Oct. 30, was approved after "very aggressive" negotiations.

Katherine Jackson and the attorneys for the estate, John McClain and John Branca, agreed to the deal on Friday. Per the terms, Columbia will pony up $60 million for rights to the footage of his London prep work.

To sweeten the pot, AEG promised that 90 percent of the film profits would be funneled back into the estate.

On your mark, get set…Fandango!

Nicole Kidman Puts Kibosh on Baby Rumors

Nicole Kidman, Sunday Rose Fame Pictures

For now, Nicole Kidman's offspring count is three and holding.

A rep for the Oscar winner has shot down reports that the Aussie is looking to give Angelina Jolie a run for her child-collecting money, denying that Kidman and hubby Keith Urban have plans to adopt from Vietnam.

"The report is not true, we have no idea who started the rumor, but it's fabricated," Kidman's rep, Catherine Olim, told E! News.

Clearly Olim's not a subscriber of Australia's New Idea magazine, which originated the brood-expanding report.

Although New Idea might have no idea about Kidman's mommy plans, the magazine did have some alleged details to back up its contention...

Nicole Kidman Ditches Woody, Robert Pattinson Gets Unbound

Crikey! Woody Allen's latest ensemble project is down one Aussie.

According to Variety, Nicole Kidman has opted out of the director's London-set flick, though has yet to offer up a reason for her departure.

Maybe she's a particularly ardent American Apparel fan or maybe it's time to cue the bump watch? In any case, the hunt is on for a replacement.

Even sans Kidman, there will be plenty of star power to go around: Naomi Watts, Freida Pinto, Antonio Banderas, Josh Brolin and Anthony Hopkins remain on board and will begin shooting this summer in the U.K.

Meanwhile, those wondering what you'd get if you crossed Wolverine with a Mummy-seeking archaeologist need wonder no more. According to Hollywood, the answer is Robert Pattinson.

The New Moon hunk heads up today's castings, along with Hugh Jackman, Rachel Weisz, Kevin Spacey, Monica Bellucci, Guy Pearce, Danny Glover and Al Pacino.

Keith Urban had a special guest during his rehearsal yesterday for tonight’s Academy of Country Music Awards.

We spotted wife Nicole Kidman watching from the audience toward the front of the stage. But as quickly as she appeared, she was gone, presumably to watch the remainder of her hubby’s set from backstage.

Faith Hill showed off her mothering side when she hit the stage at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas to practice her rendition of Loretta Lynn’s “You Ain’t Woman Enough.”

Tom, Cameron Cruise to Rom-Com, Nicole Kids Around With Woody

Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Vanilla Sky Paramount Pictures

What happened in Vanilla Sky isn't staying in Vanilla Sky. It is, however, getting a little less surreal.

Once and future costars Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz may be reteaming for another big-screen outing, this time in a more formulaic mainstream-friendly romantic comedy.

According to Variety, the film—which is currently without a title but which has previously had the working titles of Wichita and Trouble Man—centers on an unlucky-in-love woman who keeps crossing paths with a mysterious man she meets on a blind date.

Cruise and Diaz, neither of whom have formally signed on to the project yet, are the second pair to be attached to the lead roles. Last year, the film appeared ready to go with Chris Tucker and Eva Mendes, but never got off the ground. Walk the Line's James Mangold is on board to direct the flick, currently in the midst of a rewrite. No start date has been set.

Not to be outdone or upstaged, Cruise ex Nicole Kidman is Woody Allen's latest muse, while Orlando Bloom, Uma Thurman, a potentially homeless Isaiah Washington and Donald Sutherland round out today's casting news.
