Everybody Cries, One Girl Wins on Project Runway
Every season, it all comes down to Bryant Park.
Nine months after they marched their 13-look collections down the runway at Fall Fashion Week, Althea Harper, Irena Shabayeva and Carol Hannah Whitfield stood quaking before Heidi Klum & Co., waiting to hear who would be named the winner of Project Runway's much-delayed sixth season.
Of course it looked as if time was going to run out, garments were going to go unfinished and each woman was going to float away on a river of tears (mixed with other fluids, in the virus-stricken Carol Hannah's case).
But, wouldn't you know, all three ladies, competing in the second all-girl finale in a row, showed classy, polished and, for the most part, extremely wearable collections at the couture extravaganza in NYC.
And for the spoiler-avoiders among us, it seemed like anyone's game.
Did Christian Siriano Just Spill the Winner of Tonight's Project Runway Finale?!
Tonight's Project Runway finale will be the show's first-ever battle of the babes...but only one bitch can be victorious.
Take it from one seriously fierce winner.
Season four champ Christian Siriano won't be watching tonight—he'll be at the taping of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show pimping his makeup line instead—but he admits he has some insider knowledge of whether Althea Harper, Irina Shabayeva or Carol Hannah Whitfield will take home season six's $100,000 prize.
"I was at the show at Fashion Week so I already know what the collections are and what they look like. But I have an inside scoop," he told us Tuesday night at the American Eagle Times Square store opening.
Get that scoop at your own risk...

Sex and the City Makes It Work With Tim Gunn
Carrie Bradshaw & Co. are getting an extra dose of fabulous in the upcoming Sex and the City flick.
I just got word that Tim Gunn is going to appear in the sequel.
A rep for Gunn confirms the cameo, which he's shooting in New York City right now!
No word yet on what the Project Runway guru will be doing in the film, but I'm told he's playing himself.
This wouldn't be the first time Gunn has been in business with Sarah Jessica Parker...
Project Runway Winner Dishes on Celebrity Pals
Now that's good TV.
Chelsea Handler sat down with Project Runway winner Christian Siriano to talk, and boy does he. The fierce fashionista dishes on his famous clientele Tori Spelling, Victoria Beckham and Heidi Klum, not to mention what he thinks about the personal style of Chelsea and Chuy.
Plus, he reveals his own style secret, which may suprise you. Check it out.
Did Heidi Klum Cut the Cheese?
Tall, skinny and gorgeous women have bodily functions too!
This is one of the many lessons learned on last night's Models of the Runway. Just before one of the leggy lovelies got booted, one of them tooted.
"The tension got broken a little bit on the runway because, I'm not gonna name names, but I think someone had a couple of, uh, gastrointestinal problems while we were on the runway," giggles Tara Egan.
Of course, host Heidi Klum wasn't the one who smelt it or dealt it.
"What happened? Someone farted? It wasn't me," she swears. "Who's not laughing over there?"
In true model fashion, Celine Chua took ownership of the poot, and with panache.
"I'm a great farter," she admits with a smile.
It's enough to make any frat boy tune in to Lifetime's Project Runway offshoot.

This calls for another visit to the Hollywood Wedgies gallery!
Project Runway: Oktoberfest and Trash Bags!
Who was the night's big winner?
Michael Kors, of course.
Regardless of which Project Runway designer went home and which one stayed—and we aren't saying—the tanned designer and judge was on a roll with some his cattiest comments.
Kors has been absent through much of the season, and this seems to have created a backlog of bile for him to spew at the hapless designers. His harsh critiques even prompted the gorgeous Logan to brood backstage, which probably angered and thrilled a large portion of the audience. (Logan broods really well, people.)
Our favorite moment was when Heidi Klum wondered what would happen if a woman wore a particular design to her first date with a new man.
"He's leaving," snapped Kors.
Kors: Love him or hate him?

It's Spinoff Season at Bravo!
Bethenny Frankel minus the Housewives? Christian Siriano without the designers? Fabio Viviani and no quickfire challenge?
These are topsy-turvy times, folks, but as strange as these concepts may seem (all except for Bethenny, who is not in fact a wife), embrace them because these breakout personalities are on their way to superstardom in their own Bravo series.
The three docu-shows are currently untitled and in development, but brief descriptions have been provided by the network.

Dr. Oz Talks Oprah, Dr. Phil and Farrah Fawcett
Oprah Winfrey means ratings. But that doesn't mean Dr. Mehmet Oz will have the media queen on his new syndicated talk show just to boost his viewership.
"I'd love to have her on the show," Oz tells me during a break from shooting in his New York City studio. "But the big issue is, it's not for me, but for our audience. We have to have a reason to bring her onto the show. If we have a topic that can benefit from having her on the show, believe me, we'll all be thinking the same thing."
And not to worry—there are already plans for Oz to make return appearances on the Oprah Winfrey Show. But television isn't the only thing Oz is focusing on these days…
Sean Penn Debuts New Girlfriend Amid NYC's Star-Studded Weekend Bashes
What a weekend for New Yorkers!
With the MTV Video Music Awards, Fashion Week, U.S. Open and all the star-studded parties that come with them, so much fun stuff went down.
Let's start with the leggy.
Newly separated (again!) Sean Penn stepped out with Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Jessica White to celebrate fellow catwalker Noemie Leonior's birthday at new hotspot Abe & Arthur's on Saturday night.
The following evening, Jay-Z's sleek VMAs after-party took over 1Oak, which included guests from Rihanna and Beyoncé to Justin Timberlake and Jessica Alba.
Outside, however, things took a dustier turn when Diddy had a "misunderstanding," as his rep tells E! News, with some cops. Worry not—the NYPD says no arrests were made, and all related parties seem to think the situation was "blown out of proportion."

Heidi Klum: I'm Just Obsessed with Boobs
Give Michael Kors the night off and all hell breaks loose.
OK, maybe the whole "new bra situation" wasn't that bad. But even setting aside Heidi Klum's oversharing with the guest judges, tonight's Project Runway was full of life lessons, like Don't Play it Safe, Don't Make Your Model Look an Old Lady and Don't Make Judges Choose Between You or Logan.
Because Logan's hot.
However, maybe our favorite moments of tonight's episode were clips of some of the designers slagging the competition's outfits—only to later see some of those very designs getting the highest scores.
Revenge, it's what reality TV is made for.
OK, let's get back to fashion, shall we? Let's check out the hot looks happening in our Fashion Week Spring 2010: Runway Rundown gallery.

Reality Rules the Runway (and Whitney Port) for Fashion Week
We always knew reality stars liked to strut their stuff for the whole world to see, but we couldn't have predicted they would take over New York Fashion Week, which official starts bright and early tomorrow morning.
Of course, we expect (and hope) to see a few Project Runway alumni take the narrow stage. Christian Siriano is the only one under the Bryant Park big top, but Jillian Lewis, Kenley Collins, Malan Breton and Terri Stevens are also showing their wares over the next eight days.
Still, Real Housewives and a certain superfab City girl are surely dominating many tastemakers' schedules.
Get a Load of These (Tim) Gunns
Forget the fashion police. Sartorial criminals of the world now have Tim Gunn to answer to.
The Project Runway soothsayer is getting downright animated, making his long-awaited comics debut in the just-released premiere issue of Marvel's revival of Models Inc. The title, centering on the world of high fashion, first made runway and comic book enthusiasts (a niche demographic, surely) go gaga back in the 1960s.
In "Loaded Gunn," the mentor extraordinaire, who let his geek flag fly when gushing about his comic experience on the Daily Show last month, does his darnedest to save an exhibit of superhero outfits from villains.
He's putting the superpower back into power suit.
