—The adorable and genuinely sweet Selena Gomez at the American Music Awards, when we asked what she thought about Rihanna's interview with Diane Sawyer.

All eyes were on RiRi, who also looked stunning. And while we may not have been huge fans of her performance, Selena thought she was great.

We agree with Gomez, though, that Rihanna is a person to look up to, especially after everything she's been through. The judge-y jury is out for you readers, we know, but PR for her album aside, we're glad R spoke publicly (though not as early as we would have liked, but, it's Rihanna's decision) about the sad sitch. No doubt she helped at least one girl stuck in a domestic abuse situation, and that's good enough for us.

Any excuse to put up a picture of Natalie Portman is OK by us!

Nat celebrated the premiere of her new flick Brothers and looked absolutely yumma-do-me while doing it. But a little on the thin side, no? Guess that's Hollywood for ya.

Love the hair, love the makeup, love the dress. Her 'do looks classy, while the strapless mini, busty-bouquet number keeps her looking young. We forget the age of this mature Harvard alum sometimes, but we do know that that vibrant blue hue is impeccable.

One thing missing from the party was costar Jake Gyllenhaal.

Is that because he was home playing with his hair?

Are Rihanna and Drake set to make sweet music together—and then some?

Both Ri-Ri and her rumored boyfriend hit up the American Music Awards...not entirely together. But during commercial breaks, all eyes were on whether the two good-lookin' peeps would get their flirt on. (They didn't, BTW, since they hardly interacted.)

In Hollywood, that could be a sign that something is going on. (Robsten, anyone?)

Singing sensation Melissa Etheridge at the American Music Awards when we asked her whether she thought Michael Jackson would have been able to pull off his planned tour.

Although Etheridge told us she hasn't seen This Is It, yet, it doesn't sound like she needs to. Like we've said before, the film is wonderful, but doesn't do anything to hide MJ's frail frame at the time.

Melissa added that she plans to see the film because she's heard it showcases Jackson's "genius and talent."

Have you all seen it yet? You've only got a week or so—we suggest you check it out. It is a truly remarkable piece of work, but we really don't think Michael would have been able to survive the tour, anyways.

"I think Megan Fox was actually touted once. Which is ridiculous! I don't know how that happened. That poor girl is so saturated [in the media] with sex."

—Our new New Moon crush Charlie Bewley, when we asked him if he pays attention to all of the hookup rumors surrounding the Twi-cast.

Geez, no idea where the Fox rumor could have gotten started! One of our Vancouver spies still swears something happened between Robert Pattinson and foxy Fox, but who really knows.

As for which girl Mr. Bewley had his eye on? Seems too many of the female leads were already swooped up...

—Kristen Stewart, when we asked why there is so much fuss about Team Jacob versus Team Edward and why there's no Team Bella!

After all, the girl who it centers around should get some say in this, don't you think? Sadly, K.Stew is right, girls are more likely to cheer for their dream man instead of dream BFF. 

Kristen was totally calm, cool, and collected when dealing with fans and press this year. She seemed to have it much more together than the Twilight premiere one year ago today. 

Maybe she's just gotten used to it by now, except, if you ask us, we don't know how you could ever get used to all the fame she has. But Kristen handles it extremely well for her age. Does anyone else remember she's only 19 years old?

The two didn't snap pics together on the carpet, and no one could ask the two stars for any personal bites on each other. But we were able to squeeze some cuteness out of Rob.

Leave it to Kanye West to steal New Moon's thunder. After the rapper rudely interrupted the adorable Taylor Swift onstage at last night's show, 'Ye's outburst was all anyone could talk about. Probably the only people that were mildly okay with that were Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, because it totally took all the heat off them.

Like we told you last week would happen, PDA between Robsten was kept at a minimum. And while we were fairly certain Rob would be a no-show on yesterday's red carpet, Kristen skipped out, too.

Poor Taylor Lautner not only had to present two awards, but he was the Twilight cast member directed to walk the carpet and handle most of the press (Robsten questions not permitted, of course). Geez, this poor kid is really working for his New Moon paycheck huh?

So why were Rob and Kristen hiding out? Maybe because even more on set sources are coming to us, confirming that the two are very much together.
