Talk about a quickie.

Miley Cyrus admits she didn't have to work too hard for her cameo in the upcoming Sex and the City movie sequel.

"I shot for like an hour and a half, and I was done," Cyrus told Ryan Seacrest this morning on his KIIS-FM morning radio show. "It was like the best job I'd ever been on."

Cyrus appears as herself in a scene in which she and Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) wear the same dress to a red carpet event.

"It was a total dream come true," the Hannah Montana star gushed. "It was so cool. Working with Kim was a really cool. And Sarah Jessica Parker was like the nicest person in the world."

And speaking of celebrity cameos in SATC 2

Robin Williams, David Letterman, The Late Show with David Letterman John Paul Filo/CBS

Don't let his antics fool you—Robin Williams is alive, well and ready to get his show back on the road.

"I have one new valve and a repaired valve," the 57-year-old funnyman told David Letterman tonight in talking about the heart surgery that sidelined him for more than two months.

"I have a cow valve, which is great, and the grazing's been fun—and I give a good quart of cream, too, my friend."

Williams' quip-laden appearance on the Late Show coincided with his announcement that performances of his one-man standup show, Weapons of Self-Destruction, will resume Sept. 30 in Bloomington, Ind., and continue through Nov. 28.

Tickets from shows that were postponed will be honored at the rescheduled gigs.

Meanwhile, back to the meeting of the "brotherhood of the zipper chests."

"His heart is strong and he will have normal heart function in the coming weeks with no limitations on what he'll be able to do."

According to the good doctor, Williams is already showing signs of his preoperative self.

Robin Williams is taking a time-out for "a little tune-up."

The madcap Oscar winner announced today that he is postponing the remaining dates of his one-man show, Weapons of Self-Destruction, to undergo heart surgery.

The 57-year-old Williams announced Tuesday he was scuttling two shows in Florida this week after experiencing shortness of breath. Following a check-up, Williams discovered he needed a procedure to replace an aortic valve.

In a statement, Williams expresses optimism that he will be able to resume his show in the fall.

“I’m so touched by everyone’s support and well wishes,” said Williams.  “This tour has been amazing fun and I can’t wait to get back out on the road after a little tune-up.”

If Robin Williams can't be as long-winded as he likes, he'd rather sit it out.

The Oscar winner was forced to cancel four Florida performances of his one-man show, Weapons of Self-Destruction, after experiencing shortness of breath, according to a statement released by his rep.

A doctor advised Williams, who's in the middle of an 80-city tour, to rest up for a week before returning to the stage.

Shows that were to take place Wednesday and Thurday in Hollywood, Fla., Friday in Orlando and Saturday in Tampa will be rescheduled and tickets for those performances will be honored at the new ones. Williams is expected to retake the stage Monday in Jacksonville.

The 57-year-old funnyman's last standup tour was in 2002 and tickets for the Broadway leg of this road trip sold out so quickly that another three dates were tacked on in April to meet demand.

Britney Spears appears to be on the right track, so what better way to celebrate than by giving back?

How about American Idol? But if stepping back on stage for some song and dance with the wannabe Idols is too much for Ms. Brit right now, she ought to consider making an appearance at Idol Gives Back, the star-studded fundraiser on April 9.
