Maybe Michael Lohan should have been held more as a child. But whatever the reason behind his, um, unique brand of parenting, Daddy Dearest is at again, releasing the latest selection from his greatest-hits collection of phone tapes—and it's a doozy.

Today's leaked recording (with his side of the conversation is carefully edited out) features ex-wife Dina Lohan revealing that Lindsay Lohan was involved with Heath Ledger at the time of his drug-fueled death, and concerns their daughter might befall a similar fate.

"Right now by starting to drink vodka and s--t again, it's not the right direction," Dina says in the tapes obtained by Radar Online. "Because when she's drunk or takes an Adderall with it, she will do something like Heath Ledger did in a second without thinking.

"And she was dating Heath when he died. I don't know if you know that, but I know cause I would drop her off and they were friends. Very, very close, OK?"

Well, if anyone can speak on the validity of a secret relationship, it's a glorified taxi driver.

"So that f--ked her up. And right after that is when Samantha [Ronson] was around."

And make no mistake, Dina doesn't hold back on Lindsay's on-off paramour, either, saying the Ronson family "had some f--ked up s--t, too."

Dark forces are keeping Lindsay Lohan from being with her true love. But where there's a broken heart, there's a Twitter account just begging for an outburst.

"I'm in love with her, as she is with me," writes poor LiLo of Samantha Ronson. But it's that darn Ronson clan who is keeping these star-crossed lovers apart. "Her family will cut her off if she contacts me…they hate her brilliance&resent her happiness."

We're gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that Ma and Pa Ronson might be a lot more sympathetic, Linds, if you weren't giving the world constant updates on the state of your relationship with Sam and her fam. Just a thought.

You can't really blame Lindsay Lohan for wanting to blow a pop stand that's been burgled twice. But why is her ex changing addresses, too?

A source close to the duo tells E! News that Lohan and Samantha Ronson happen to be moving at the same time because both are sick of the constant paparazzi presence outside their respective houses.

We hear that Lohan, who has movers coming Friday to transport all her stuff from her rented Hollywood Hills home to a more secure high-rise apartment in Los Angeles, had been planning her relocation even before the latest break-in.

"That way, in a building, she can have a doorman and be a lot safer," the source said.

Lindsay Lohan had lunch with Samantha Ronson yesterday, but that's hardly news anymore.

Remember that silly—and by "silly," we mean awesome!—commercial she did back in March? Yeah, we're still laughing about it. That's why it's so awesome that she has a whole new series of photos for Fornarina's winter ad campaign.

That's right—more Flash! Bang! Wow!

In a couple of the photos, she wants us to wonder if she's wearing any skivvies. One of them features her making sure she's sure while she hoists a purse like a trophy. In another, she's trying to use her guitar as a step stool (we don't recommend trying this at home, folks).

How do you like your Lindsay: like this, bickering with Ronson, dressing as Marilyn Monroe or do you just wish you could stop time shortly after the release of Mean Girls?

If only Reese Witherspoon had lent Bret Michaels that helmet she's wearing in Big Pic, the Tonys after-parties would have been much more eventful.

Lindsay Lohan just can't stop "paying homage" to Marilyn Monroe, and it's getting to the point where we're concerned.

The minute we saw that Dolce & Gabbana Marilyn printed dress on the Milan runway, we wondered how long it would take for the tragic icon's biggest fan to get her hands on one. Answer: 2 months. Although we thought it would happen on a red carpet, not for a Spanish Vogue shoot, so we only half-win.

Other recent LiLo homages to Monroe have included the "Everyone's a star and deserves the right to twinkle" tattoo (she had to settle for a quote because Megan Fox already took the forearm face one), her leggings line named 6126 after Marilyn's B-day, this blog, and who can forget that one photo shoot from last year?

Nearly three weeks after announcing they've split, the 22-year-old Mean Girls starlet logged quality time at the DJ's Hollywood home yesterday. The visit, captured by paparazzi, came just after Ronson's return from a vacation in Oahu with a (gay) male friend.

E! News has learned that, in the past week, the pair have spoken over the phone. In fact, a source tells us, "Sam texted Lindsay from Hawaii and said she missed her."

On the Ellen DeGeneneres Show episode that aired yesterday, LiLo admitted to still being in touch with Ronson, but only via text message.

Contrary to what you probably think, Lindsay Lohan did not get into acting to make headlines and acquire a paparazzi entourage.

"I didn't get into this business to be a celebrity on the cover of tabloids and I've been a target and I'm not that interesting," the 22-year-old actress insisted during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show airing tomorrow.

"It distracts people—studio heads, everyone, and they get nervous. I've been through a lot. I was 19 years old when things happened and I'm ready to work. I'm responsible and I can be on time and I learn from my mistakes."

Insisting that "everything fell into place" recently, Lohan says that she's ready to refocus on her career, now that she's single again following a breakup that apparently took her completely by surprise.
