Smallville Actor Busted for Hillbilly Heroin
Has Sam Jones been hanging out with Adam Jasinski? Sure seems it.
For the second time in two days, a C- D-list celeb (apologies to Kathy Griffin) was arrested by Drug Enforcement Administration agents for illegally pushing oxycodone.
Today's target: former Smallville actor Jones, who this morning was busted at his Canoga Park home for his role as an alleged coconspirator in a series of big-time drug deals last year which, all told, involved him moving more than 10,000 of the blue painkillers, otherwise known as hillbilly heroin (the Big Brother champ's 2,000 seems almost paltry in comparison).
Clark Kent's onetime BFF was charged with conspiracy to possess and intent to distribute after authorities determined he was the "Hollywood connection" to illegally purchasing and distributing the drugs.
He's expected to appear in federal court later today and, if convicted, could face up to 20 years behind bars.
Guess we know what his kryptonite is.

Executive producer Kelly Souders was more than happy to tease all the Smallville happenings, including the sensual sex scene between Clark and Lois (Erica Durance), who's getting a sidekick this season and how Clark can defeat Zod (Callum Blue) before a new mystery person tries to kill him. Oh just another day in the life of Clark Kent.

No Smallville Feat—and the TV Ratings Top 10
You're a guy show on a girl network. Your would-be companion show just got nixed. You're being fitted for a Kryptonite collar about now, right? Well…
Smallville scored its biggest audience in a year last week (4.5 million viewers), and ruled its time slot among men 18-34.
The upbeat ratings came as the CW said it was pulling the plug on its planned Smallville-esque Robin series, The Graysons, and confirmed it was mulling a revamp of Melrose Place, a series that theoretically would pull in Gossip Girl women, unlike, you know, Smallville.
There's no word on whether Smallville will be back for a ninth season, although the show's executive producers recently talked up future "seasons" on the fan site, KryptonSite.
Clark Kent may be a superhero out of water, but he seems to have good lungs.
Elsewhere, Heroes could use an oxygen mask, plus nine other lessons from the latest Nielsen rankings and stats:
Smallville's Big Mystery: Where Is Lex Luthor?
Tonight's season premiere of Smallville had some surprises, which we won't get into (but you're welcome to have at it in the comments).
After the Fortress of Solitude busts a gasket, Tom Welling's Clark Kent turns up in the snowy wilds of Russia (though some say you can actually see him from an island in Alaska).
The big question, however, is what happened to Michael Rosenbaum's Lex Luthor when things went bang? Did he grab tight to the Stones of Power and gut it out, or get turned into an Pure Evil™-flavored Slushie?
