Snoop Dogg's Bullet Bling Makes Airport Security Bark
Memo to Snoop Dogg: Airport security guards—especially foreign ones—aren't, um, too fond of bullets as baubles.
The Doggfather wound up in the dogghouse after donning some blinged-out ammo at the Beirut International Airport. The star was on his way back to the U.S. following a concert in the Lebanon capital.
"It has nothing to do with U.S. customs; it was the security in Beirut that caused the issue," a source tells E! News.
The necklace, from the socially conscious Bullets 4 Peace collection promoting world piece, was confiscated.
The rapper clearly has a sour relationship with airports. He was arrested in 2006 for trying to board a plane with a collapsible baton, was banned from Heathrow Airport in London in 2006 for a fight and drugs and weapon possession charges from Burbank's Bob Hope Airport in 2007.

Snoop: Not So High on Miley, JoBros & Twilight

Once upon a time, Snoop Dogg told us he'd like to hit the studio with Miley Cyrus or the Jonas Brothers.
Sadly, he's singing a different tune these days.
When we caught up with the rapper in April, he told us that he'd like to "make some gangsta pop music" with the Disney sensations.
But when we ran into him last night at the launch of Adidas Originals by David Beckham and James Bond in L.A., he quickly backtracked...
Fo' Shizzle! Snoop Dogg Gets Big Promotion
Snoop Dogg paid tha cost and is now tha boss.
His Highness has been named the inaugural "creative chairman" of EMI Music's Priority Records.
Snoop's been charged with developing new talent for the legendary rap label, which will also release his upcoming Malice N Wonderland. The rap superstar will also supervise special legacy releases to coincide with Priority's 25th anniversary in 2010. Aside from Snoop, the label and its ancillaries distributed seminal albums from the likes Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Ice-T, Master P and Easy-E.
"It's a new partnership, a new Priority Records, and a new Snoop Dogg," says the rapper. "The Creative Chairman...the Boss Dogg...the Dogg Father."
We're not sure how Priority's new music will turn out, but the label will definitely be smokin'.
Snoop Dogg Denies Smacking Fan Onstage
Snoop Dogg's latest rap—denial.
Taking the stand in his ongoing civil trial, the hip-hop star testified Monday that he did not hit plaintiff Richard Monroe with a brass knuckle microphone during a 2005 gig in Seattle.
Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, said that he feared for his life when Monroe, who's suing the rapper for $22 million, hopped onstage—only to be swarmed by Snoop's bodyguards and fellow rappers, including fellow Los Angeles-area native the Game.
Snoop Dogged By Trial, Taxman
A double whammy for Snoop Dogg.
Trial kicked off today in Los Angeles in a civil case accusing the rapper and his posse of beating down a fan. If that wasn't bad enough, the Doggfather was outed as a tax dodger by state officials, who confirmed that a lien had been put on his SoCal homebase.
First, the lawsuit. Lawyers for Richard Monroe Jr., who filed suit against Snoop in April 2006 for assault, battery, negligence, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, began their opening statements by playing a video of the alleged incident to jurors.
The Kent, Wash., native claims he sustained serious injuries after hopping onstage during the rapper's rendition of "Gin and Juice during a May 2005 gig in Seattle.
Can Speidi Still Charge $100,000 to Attend a Party?
I'm about to attend a convention in the U.K. Curious as to what organizers have to pay for a celeb appearance.
—Laiq, via Twitter
Looks like the worldwide monetary crisis hasn't hit celebrities so much. Unless you count Speidi, who recently whined that the crappy economy has killed their usual $100,000 appearance fee.
Kim Kardashian reportedly charges more than $20,000 to attend a club. No word on the separate appearance fee for her moon-shaped booty, but I'm working on it.
Meantime, this:
Rise 'n' Shine: Mariah Carey Is Not Earth Day Friendly
• Mariah Carey may be prepping to celebrate her first wedding anniversary with Nick Cannon, but she's probably not switching all her lightbulbs to fluorescents. She was recently named the least green celebrity (which had nothing to do with comparisons to Shrek).
• Miley Cyrus and Heidi Montag have become Twitter buddies—three things we hoped we'd never have to put together in one sentence.
• Those New Moon wolves are (sexy) beasts!
• Project Runway silver fox Tim Gunn hasn't had a date in 26 years, but who's counting?
• Sean Penn likes that President Barack Obama smiles. We think he ought to give it a try as well.
• Dear Jenna Dewan: You're probably not "the worst bride in the world," but, if we were marrying delicious Channing Tatum, we'd have stepped up already. Love, Rise 'n' Shine

Rise 'n' Shine: Drunk on Johnny Depp's Rum
• We're starting to think The Rum Diary is just a code name for a weeks-long Johnny Depp glamour shoot and we're totally OK with seeing daily new pics of him in hot cars and sunglasses. What about you?
• Chace Crawford continues to not-so-subtly mimic Zac Efron's every move and checks out a Broadway rock musical.
• The Real Housewives of NYC's sense of irony never ceases to surprise. Alex McCord has decided to share her tips for getting along with other people. Oh, and she's crazy (she told us to call her that).
• The recording studio must have gotten too smoky for Amy Winehouse and Snoop Dogg to complete their collaboration.
• Professional ex-boyfriend-to-the-starlets, Wilmer Valderrama, shares his thoughts on Lindsay Lohan's latest dramz.
• You know a man is a keeper when his tux's bow tie perfectly matches your shoes.
• Dear Novak Djokovic: Dude, you're living up to your name. Tennis isn't always this hot or this funny. Love, Rise 'n' Shine

Snoop Dogg Plans to "Make a Baby" on V-Day
Is Snoop Dogg looking to add another pup to his litter?

Snoop Dogg's Upscale Community Up in Smoke
Oprah Winfrey and Rob Lowe aren't the only celebs affected by the raging wildfires ripping across Southern California this weekend.
Snoop Dogg's family members and staff were among 26,000 residents forced to evacuate their homes on Sunday due to an uncontrollable blaze that has already destroyed 150 homes and threatens 3,500 more.
The Grammy award-winning rapper owns a multi-million dollar home in The Country Estates, an exclusive, gated, hillside community in Diamond Bar, Calif. A reporter for Los Angeles radio's KNX-1070 caught up with a few of Snoop's entourage who said they were on their way to retrieve possessions and memorabilia from his house.
The rapper was not home at the time of the evacuations, according to the radio report.
As part of the Triangle Complex fire, the inferno has already scorched 10,000 acres and spans four counties: Orange, Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside.
Appreciation: The "Godfather of Rap"
"Without Rudy Ray Moore," Snoop Dogg once offered, "there would be no Snoop Dogg, and that's for real."
Moore was the "Godfather of Rap." It's true, he bestowed the title upon himself, but it's also true he was a touchstone for Snoop Dogg, Ice T, Busta Rhymes, 2 Live Crew and more who discovered the former R&B singer through his blaxploitation cult classic Dolemite, if not his X-rated comedy albums of the 1970s.
Crowe Helps Snoop Avoid Down Under Dogging
Snoop Dogg has found himself an unlikely wizard of Oz: Russell Crowe.
The rapper has finally been granted a visa to enter Australia, allowing him to embark on a long-pending tour Down Under, after a full character assessment by the immigration department that included, among other things, a letter supporting Snoop's application by the Oscar-winning actor.
"I submit to you that Snoop Dogg poses no threat to Australia or to any individual in this country," Crowe wrote in his letter to officials.
While the Aussie's epistle no doubt gave the 36-year-old reality star's file an A-list boost, it wasn't the only piece of information taken into account by the immigration officials.
