Way to Go, Steve-O!

Steve-O's nose is officially clean.

The Jackass star has a less crowded rap sheet today now that a judge, pleased with Stephen Glover's progress and commitment to staying sober, has dismissed a cocaine-possession charge against him.

The London-born shockmeister pleaded guilty to felony possession last year after being busted for making a ruckus with a fellow tenant at his Hollywood apartment house. Police found coke when they arrived at his place.

"He earned his way to a dismissal," attorney Barry G. Sands said after court. "He had to stay clean and sober and criminal violation-free for 18 months."

And so Steve-O did, instead choosing to occupy his time with rehab, Dancing With the Stars, the fight to legalize gay marriage, and other, more life-affirming pursuits.

The 35-year-old also let MTV in on his recovery process for the special Steve-O: Demise and Rise.

He may have been born there, but you don't generally acquaint Steve-O with jolly old England. Kinda like when we watch all these other Sham Yankees on TV.

The medical bills at Dancing With the Stars may not be as high this upcoming season as they have been in the past.

Producers of the hit reality-competition show have finally implemented safety measures that they hope will reduce the curse number of injuries that have plagued many of their celebrity contestants.

"There's a rule now that we're not allowed to train for more than five hours a day for the first two weeks," professional hoofer Cheryl Burke told me last night at the Anna Faris-hosted Malibu-Reef Check event in Beverly Hills.

And there's more…

Too bad Gilles Marini wasn't around when Steve-O had his portrait taken for the NO H8 organization. We're sure the former Jackass stuntman would have tried to lock lips with his fellow Dancing With the Stars alum.

"If I could walk down the aisle with any male, it would be Gilles," the Steve-O tells us. "He's gorgeous in every sense of the word. He's an absolute cockthrob, and he's a really great guy."

So, who is Steve-O kinda puckering up to in the pic?

Steve-O probably won't be having a viewing party when his upcoming documentary about his own addiction and recovery premieres next month on MTV.

"Watching it was horribly unhealthy for me," the former Jackass prankster told me yesterday. "You think that would help keep me sober, you know seeing myself as this raving lunatic...It absolutely triggered these crazy urges to get loaded."

Fortunately, he didn't relapse. Steve-O, 34, has been sober now for 13 months and 13 days. But Steve-O: Demise and Rise, airing May 3, is a no-holds-barred look at his past substance abuse...

Only Seven Stars Still Dancing

DWTS, Lil Kim, Derek Hough ABC/KELSEY MCNEAL

Rascal Flatts sang. Carmen Electra sorta danced—auditioning for next season, perhaps?

And on Tuesday another celebrity was eliminated from Dancing With the Stars in an unusually adamant dismissal—no chance to redeem oneself with a dance-off tonight.

Steve-O was in last place after Monday's performance show after scoring only 16 on his rumba, and Vegas oddsmakers had him as the overwhelming favorite, at 1 to 3, to be the one to have to pack his shoes and go.

But Ty Murray and Lawrence Taylor, who was in the bottom two last week, didn't do that great, scorewise...and while you can do the math, the numbers just love to lie.

Welcome back, Steve-O.

I just got word that the Jackass prankster is expected to take the floor again tonight on Dancing With the Stars.

Even so, he and partner Lacey Schwimmer aren't taking any chances this time around.

Impressive fancy footwork or not, Steve-O’s Dancing With the Stars pro partner Lacey Schwimmer says the Jackass prankster should go far in the competition.

“Every week is different. And you always hope for the best, but usually it ends up turning out awful,” Schwimmer told us last night at the opening of the new L.A. outpost of the What Comes Around Goes Around vintage store. “But Steve-O has amazing fans. They’re following him through this.”

Steve-O was not only seeing specialists last week for back problems believed to be related to his Dancing training, but...

Steve-O's Salsa Injury: DWTS Curse Strikes Again?

If there's one contestant on Dancing With the Stars who can fancy-footwork his way through the pain, it's Jackass jokester Steve-O.

However, his pro partner, Lacey Schwimmer, tells me that Steve-O, 34, is off to see a fourth specialist today regarding a painful back injury believed to be related to their recent salsa rehearsals.

"They all say he has pulled a lot of sciatic nerves and that's pretty bad," Schwimmer says. "Everyone who has looked at him has said that it's not good. He's in pain."

Even so, Schwimmer says Steve-O is committed to staying in the show...

Steve-O Blogs: I'm in a Mental Institution

Stephen "Steve-O" Glover Toby Canham/Getty Images

"Four f--king months" and Steve-O's still sober. At least according to his most recent blog post.

But all his hard living has left the Jackass star suffering from some long-lasting side effects, so he's checked himself into the hospital:

"I did so much cocaine, ketamine, PCP, nitrous oxide and all sorts of other drugs, that, quite simply, my brain is f--ked up. As you can probably tell by the way I'm writing this, my cognitive skills are alright, but, I frequently suffer from horrible mood swings and severe depression."
