This might possibly be the best episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey ever. I think it is because we got to see the ladies interact with their families more, and in completely organic situations. Just really enjoyable and fun to watch!
With that said, here I go again with my schizophrenic analysis of Teresa and Gia with regard to being a stage mom. Lip glaaaawsss and hot pants? Truth be told: They both love the attention. Gia could be the future Italian Shirley Temple. I made my own doctor's appointments at the age of seven, so I am not one to talk. It all seems a bit Jon-Benét to me.

Who are those two? And what's that shiny thing on Bethenny Frankel's finger? Read on...

The Jersey runaway train (or in this case Range Rover) has stopped. We've squeezed every last bit of juice out of these girls, and the reunion was lacking for that drama and dirt.

I disagree with Danielle's opening statement: "You either love me or hate me." In fact, I don't love her, but I certainly don't hate her either. I think she is a sad and insecure woman who has made some fear-based choices and is ultimately very lonely.
From what her astute daughter said, "Men come around for the goodies," perhaps Danielle uses her sexuality to get attention, which she continues to mistake as love. This seems to be why she is alone.
She is trying to manufacture a scenario in which her younger "booty call" Steve is her boyfriend when in actuality, he is on the sexual-favors plan. It remains quite tragic.
Here's what else I think...

New Jersey is doing well. The ratings say so. I won't compare it to New York because people will say I cannot be objective.
However, I can compare it to Atlanta and Orange County. There is equal, if not way more, drama in this Jersey version, somehow I just don't feel it. When Tamra from the O.C. got Gretchen wasted, I was holding my hand over my mouth, and that wasn't even a massive scandal. When Kim from Atlanta ashed a cigarette on her own lawn, I just couldn't get over it. So why am I bored at a massive catfight between Danielle and Dina particularly when this one includes a tell-all book as scandalous as the Monica Lewinsky moments.
The reason being...

Those coming attractions keep bringing us back, but I'm not finding the actual content all that riveting (and I mean not even in a "can't look away from a trainwreck kind of way"). I find it pretty boring so far, and I think it is largely because the husbands may be the most interesting characters, and they don't seem to be surfacing anytime soon. When Dina's show opening is sans husband, you know he cracked the whip and said, "Keep my ass off that show!"
We even got to see the back of Jacqueline's husband's head during that painful dinner for six with Danielle. The viewer doesn't like missing characters that aren't missing in life. Been there. Done that.
On to specifics...

Holy bridge and tunnel!
Well, I predicted this show was going to be "White-lanta" and, well, I was right. These broads are out for blood.
I'm always so biting with my tongue, but this time I fear they may take a hit out on me.
Boo-bies and its odd pronunciation are a major theme throughout this suburban mess. Small ones, ones too big for tennis, ones bigger than one's heart: boobies, boobies, boobies.
So let's dive in...
