Grey's Won't Go Grey-less
This Post-it Note just in! Meredith Grey won't go missing from Seattle Grace after all.
Sources confirm that Ellen Pompeo is expected to return to the set of Grey's Anatomy "very soon" after giving birth to baby girl Stella Luna Sept. 15. Thanks to her early return, as well as her willingness to preshoot scenes before the birth (most of which took place in bed after Meredith's liver surgery in last night's ep), it is working out that not a single episode will go Meredith Grey-less.
Pretty good news for Meredith and Derek fans, right?
As for all you Owen and Christina fans who are freaking out over rumors of trouble in paradise...
John Krasinski Engages Emily Blunt!
Talk about life imitating art.
There must be something in the water over at The Office because not only are Jim Halpert and Pam Beesly finally tying the knot, Jenna Fischer is also prepping to walk down the aisle for a second time, and, to top it all off, John Krasinski is also gearing up to swap vows with lady love Emily Blunt.
Reps for the superprivate pair tell E! News: "We can confirm that John and Emily are engaged."
The couple began dating in November 2009 and have kept much of their romance under wraps, arriving separately to awards shows and spending down-low downtime together in Los Angeles.
Before finding each other, The Devil Wears Prada star dated crooner Michael Bublé for three years, while Krasinski was linked to former Office costar Rashida Jones.
Alright Dunder Mifflin, who's next? If Ryan and Kelly hook up again, are we going to hear about Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak engagements, too? We can only hope...

Catfight! SYTYCD's Mary Murphy Digs Her Claws into Paula Abdul
Everyone's favorite shrieking judge is calling out little ol' Paula Abdul.
"She might be sitting next to me this season, you never know," So You Think You Can Dance's Mary Murphy told E! News at the opening of the new L.A. resort, Terranea, last night. "I'm not sure America's ready for that."
While we definitely agree with that sentiment (Paula's mindless blabber mixed with the pitch of Mary's squeal—can you imagine?!), the SYTYCD judge took it a step further on the Paula front:
"There could be a catfight between me and Paula—or a dance fight!"
Uh-oh, is trouble already a-brewin' between the former American Idol judge and her potential Dance partner?
Things are Getting Ugly for Paula Abdul
We kid. It's actually quite the opposite.
On the heels of leaving American Idol and endless speculation as to where she will end up next, E! News has confirmed that Paula Abdul is in talks to guest star on ABC's Ugly Betty.
That's right folks, the little Paula that could continues to rebound after last week's AI debacle. While info about Abdul's potential role on the underdog series is being kept secret, our best frenemy Ausiello reports that she'll play a Mode temp who becomes fast friends with Becki Newton's Amanda.
We can only imagine the misadventures these two will find.
If ABC keeps this up, they may just land Paula for Dancing with the Stars after all. We'll keep you posted...
Jon & Kate: Jon Swears "It's Not a Midlife Crisis"
This week's episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8 was definitely a game changer.
Not really due to any "separation" talk—which we have certainly heard enough about for one day—or because of those supercute kids' continued frolicking on the beach with that too-tan mom of theirs.
No, tonight we learned who Jon Gosselin really is.
So who exactly is that? According to the diamond studded bachelor dad, he's just a man who enjoys wearing Ed Hardy (or extremely blurry shirts, as the above clip demonstrates) and likes "fast things."
The catch? This is apparently who Jon has been throughout the entire series. (Hmmm, we must have missed the memo.)
"It's just the way I've always been expressing myself. Things are just coming out a lot more now," explains Gosselin. "This is who I am and this is who I'm gonna be."
And how does he explain that bling?
"I've had my ears pierced since I was, I don't know, 15-years old. I just figured why not, just throw ‘em back in. Who cares? It's a part of me." Clearly the new and very visible sideburns are simply to accentuate this new "old" Gosselin.
Seriously Jon, you're not helping your case whatsoever...
Ellen Gets Serious on a Two-Timing So You Think You Can Dance
It's a good thing Tyce Diorio waited for Ellen DeGeneres' guest appearance to unleash his latest work on us.
Our tears might have carried us away, Alice in Wonderland-style, if she hadn't been there to provide some comic relief on the heraldic 99th episode of the understandably Emmy-nominated So You Think You Can Dance.
Let's start from the beginning (and parts of the middle), however, shall we? There was nothing not to like about former contestant Travis Wall's opening group number. And now that Kupono's gone, each solo was as impressive as the next. And Brandon's, the last of the night, was especially good.
The routines (two per couple) were a bit hit-and-miss, however. But when they hit... holy crap, did they hit. Right in the heart, in fact.
SYTYCD Top 14 Meet Aliens, Broadway, Classical Ballet ...and Katie Holmes
So here's the skinny on the Katie Holmes stuff:
In announcing the establishment of the Dizzy Feet Foundation, an effort to provide scholarship opportunities for underprivileged dancers, Nigel Lythgoe was tickled to also announce that Holmes will be taking the stage for So You Think You Can Dance's 100th episode.
The actress (who's in on the foundation with Lythgoe, Carrie Ann Inaba and Adam Shankman) will be dancing in a Tyce Diorio-choreographed tribute to Judy Garland on July 23 and donating her entire appearance fee to Dizzy Feet.
And as for the dancers not yet married to movie stars...
The voters have their work cut out for them, because most of the Top 14 really tore it up tonight—and a few season-five favorites may be in trouble.
But before Caitlin tried to mate with Jason, and Phillip got chained to Jeanine, and Ade scaled Melissa's balcony...Mia Michaels made Brandon cry.
What's Up Next for SYTYCD's Ashley and Max?
With all of the focus on Mrs. Cruise coming on board for the So You Think You Can Dance finale, we thought it would be nice to bring some attention to last night's eliminated duo.
We had the chance to chat with Max Kapitannikov and Ashley Valerio this morning, so click in to find out their reactions on being sent home and what's next for the pair...
SYTYCD Drops First Two of the Season
As is the case with every season of So You Think You Can Dance, two people have to go before they really got started.
Monday's debut performance show, featuring the still-intact Top 20, was solid throughout, with the predominant feeling afterward being that it was going to be all kinds of sad to see anyone go tonight.
And everyone had another triumphant moment in the opening Shane Sparks-choreographed group hip-hop number, which made everyone look just devine.
But a few niggling cracks in the polished facade (isn't it great when a show starts with everyone being pretty awesome?) were all it took to take down the first couple of season five.
Which, despite what you might think, turned out to be...
SYTYCD 's Nigel Lythgoe Tweets Off Against GLAAD's "Homophobic" Accusation
The brains behind the feet of So You Think You Can Dance are trying to fight back after coming under attack over some allegedly homophobic comments.
GLAAD was on the warpath today after remarks made by show mastermind and judge Nigel Lythgoe toward same-sex dance duo Misha Belfer and Mitchel Kibel in last night's premiere.
"I think you probably alienate a lot of our audience," he said after the duo's samba. "I mean, we've always had the guys dance together on the show, but they've never really done it in each other's arms before.
"Do you know what? I'd like to see you both dancing with a girl."
Nigel continued his tirade online, saying, "The same-sex ballroom guys did remind me of Blades of Glory. However, I'm not a fan of Brokeback ballroom."
GLAAD and Nigel have only been escalating from there...
Turner Upfront: Big Stars, Alien Invasions & Maybe a Sex Tape
Turner networks wants you to see stars this summer.
This morning, TNT, TBS and TruTV attempted to not be outdone by the major networks showcasing their wares this week, continuing the current upfront theme that no one knows the difference between network and cable. And with celebs like Jada Pinkett Smith, Dylan McDermott, Kyra Sedgwick, Holly Hunter, George Lopez and Tyler Perry walking across the stage, it's easy to see why.
In addition, the networks announced new shows in development with some major brass behind them.
Cowboy J.T. Wrangles in the Survivor: Tocantins Win
Eighteen seasons have come and gone and we still can't get enough of life in the wild. The Survivor: Tocantins finale certainly did not disappoint, showcasing the charm—and luck!—of everyone's favorite bright-eyed cowboy.
The Samson, Ala., cattle-rancher, James "J.T." Thomas, Jr., 24, came out on top, being chosen the unanimous winner by his jury of Survivor pals. The million dollar prize came on the heels of a nail-biting finale that repeatedly played out in J.T.'s favor.
As if a million bucks isn't enough, Jeff Probst named J.T. the fan-favorite and recipient of an extra $100,000. On top of all of his winnings, the champ was seemingly untouchable throughout the entire finale, winning the immunity idol twice tonight and earning all seven votes in the final tribal council.
So how did J.T. acquire all of the bragging rights? Here's what went down during the final days in Tocantins:
