Kris Allen Performs "Yesterday" With Mike Huckabee
Now that Kris Allen has won American Idol, he could probably have his pick of musical collaborators. So it came as quite a surprise when he agreed to sing with none other than Mike Huckabee, the former governor of Kris' home state of Arkansas.
Check out the clip above, which is set to air this Sunday on the politician's Fox News Channel show and then read on to hear what plans Kris has for his future...
On the show, Kris joked, "Maybe someday I could be the governor of Arkansas, right?" To which Huckabee replied, "It's a great gig. It really is."
With his acoustic guitar in tow, Conway, Ark.-based Kris sang a stripped-down rendition of the Beatles classic "Yesterday," while Huckabee played bass guitar next to him.
