Jane Lynch: Glee's Not as "Sappy" as High School Musical

Put High School Musical and Glee in the same sentence and you just might see Jane Lynch's claws come out.
"I don't know that it is anti-High School Musical," she tells E! News. "But it's much harsher. It's snarkier. It's not as sappy, if you will."
Jane's got more to say on that and on what's in store this season...
"I mean, High School Musical was good and everything, but it was kind of surface level sappy," she continues. "These kids [in Glee] are going through real issues." What issues you ask? For one, she says, someone is coming out of the closet.
