Let's skip the news about Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski's wedding plans for now and get to our favorite tasty tidbit from our chat with the Bachelorette and her chosen one: Jillian's writing a dating book based on hot dog toppings! Finally, we say. WTF, you ask?

Here's the background for you non-Bachelor/Bachelorette followers: Other than the steamy hot tub scene on the last season of The Bachelor, this Canadian cutie is equally known for telling viewers that you can judge a man's character based on his choice of hot dog toppings. Makes sense now, eh?

Here are her plans for the toppings tome (and for the wedding too!)...

"I don't know exactly how it's going to work," Jillian told reporters this morning about the hot dog dating book, "but I'm trying to write something kind of cute and funny about the whole hot dog theory and my dating life and the different guys I've dated and how I came up with the theory."

We love the idea, Jil. Tell us more! "It's just sort of a girls guide to how to dissect a guy and how to simply ask what his hot dog topping is and then you decide whether he's a keeper or not," she continued. "It'll be short stories about different guys I've dated and what you can expect with a sauerkraut guy or a ketchup guy...just something fun."

Wiener writing aside, Jillian, who made her final choice between Ed and Kiptyn Locke on Monday night's finale (check out Trista Sutter's recap here), told us she's also working on getting a green card so she can start working as soon as possible when she moves to Ed's hometown of Chicago "in the first week or two in September." She added, "I need to get back to work, definitely. I'm done with being lazy and sitting by the pool."

As for wedding plans, the bride-to-be said, "I don't have anything [planned] aside from who's making the cabbage rolls and what kind of cover band we're going to have. Other than that, we'd like to get married in the next year to year and a half." She added that they want their wedding to have "lots of friends and family and kids and live music and beer...just something really down-to-earth and casual."

When asked if they would have a televised wedding à la Trista and Ryan Sutter's amazing nuptials, Jil said, "Not that there's anything wrong with that—they had a gorgeous wedding on TV. But Ed and I both had a really hard time adapting to being in the limelight. And knowing what his family and friends are like and what my family and friends are like, I want them all to be so comfortable at our wedding, so we're thinking that probably not having a public wedding is the best route to go."

Wedding location? "I think what we'll probably do is have it in Canada," said Ed.

Hey, here's an idea! Let's help Jil name her book. Post your ideas for a great hot dog dating book title in the comments below.
